Ren made me listen to Asaf when he recommended him on his channel. and Wow, how amazing he is! He is my go-to playlist. I went to Asaf's concert in December when he was in Copenhagen and it was a wild experience! Seeing him live is an experience of the greats. Once he had to start over when he entered his loop crookedly - but that only made the experience even greater! And he is a beautiful person who doesn't take himself too seriously. He laughed at himself and that mistake. It was beautiful to witness
Yeeees 🎉 Asaf holds a very special place in my heart. He takes music to another dimension, like you say. He performs his feelings, not caring about sounding pretty or correct. Love it. And the meaning of his lyrics are often complex and philosophical. This is is “angry song”, he said he had writers block when starting the process for the album and couldn’t find his focus. He needed to write this to let out the disappointment and anger he felt, first, before doing the rest of the album. Thanks for this awesome reaction❤

I dont know about you James, but this song ( ive heard lots now) it is my favorite of ihis. Goosebumps once that layering starts because i know the crescendo is coming. Holy moly, i am new to Asaf this year via Ren. Brought to Ren by a Ren fan. Ren was blown away! Wonder if it was this song❤? He asked his fans to like and follow and share.oh hell yesssss we all are on board. I am down the rabbit hole back like 2015ish. Music amazing but different. James do you know the backstory of him before being a musician/ amazing singer lyracist? Its a big smile for me. And the huge career he had prior he quit for music. I will send the link. He has been around Europe mostly thats why no one in states had a clue of him. He reminds me of a Ren.he is an open book and fantastic sense of humor.. he is originally from Israel. Parents were Diplomats. His childhood and youth was spent traveling to different countries to live when he was a child etc😊. I love Ren, but this guy is right up there for me. Just brilliant and down to earth.
I have known Asaf for many years. (I'll be at his concert at the end of the month😍). The longer we continue our journey with him, the more I will detail his life story.. Thanks for writing this! I'm so glad you discovered this amazing artist. To me, each and every song is mesmerizing and unique❤️
