പണ്ടത്തെ തറവാട്ടിൽ കുമ്മായമാണ് തേച്ചത് ഒരു 350 കൊല്ലത്തെ പഴക്കമുണ്ടനും ബിൽഡിങ്ങിനു ഒരു പ്രോയും അവിടെ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല . 50 കൊല്ലം മുന്നേ എടുത്ത വീട് തേച്ചത് സിമന്റ് പൂഴി മിശ്രിതം എന്നിട്ട് അതിനും ഒരു പ്രോയും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല . പിന്നെ പുറത്തെ അടുക്കള കളിമണ്ണ് കൊണ്ട് തേച്ചതായിനും അവിടെയും ഒന്നും ഇല്ല . ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ വീട് കുയ്യാട്ടം കരിങ്കല്ലുകൊണ്ട് കഴിഞ്ഞു ബെൽറ്റ് വാർത് 5 വരി ചെങ്ങേല് കല്ല് കൊണ്ട് പൊക്കി എന്നിട്ട് ആണ് മുകൾവരി ...മുകാല്വരി എംസാൻഡ്‌ കൊണ്ട് ജോയിന്റ് പിന്നെ പീസാൻഡ്‌ കൊണ്ടാണ് പ്ലാസ്റ്ററിങ് അതിനു ശേഷം പുട്ടി ഇട്ടു. പക്ഷെ ഇങ്ങനെ പൊട്ടുന്നു .

Dampness can be found in the first floor also..because i am experiencing the same! Not just 1m from the floor level, it grows beyond that to the roof level! Suffering from it for the last couple of years. Done the damp proof on a wall as a trial and waiting to see whether it will appear back in period of time!
Sir first you find out the incoming source of water. It may come from your first floor bathrooms or may from your sun shades or corners & cracks in main terrace. If from the bathrooms do it tile joint epoxy in the proper way. If it come from the other two ways above said, treat it properly & close the all paurus area to stop the capillary action.
