Because I keep getting comments about how this was made: I played it on my computer with an emulator, so I could redo the shots over and over until they were perfect. You can tell that they probably didn't expect many people to be getting "double eagles" from the fact that the audio for "double" was so obviously recorded separately from the audio for "eagle"
The correct term is "albatross." During play-testing, the possibility of a player scoring an albatross was realized, so "double" from "double bogie" was added to "eagle" because the voice recordings had already been done and it didn't make economic sense to set up another recording session with the same VA.
I’ve played wii golf religiously the last 10 years. I play 6 hours a day every single day and my best score is 25 over par. It used 30 over though for the longest time, so I see this as an absolute win 🤷🏼♂️
