Good job, i do all the same as you with a 14’ dump trailer. I have found when estimating its better to give one price, instead of itemizing on invoice. I try to make $65 an hour labor, and i charge $65 in town delivery or pickup (depending on how much work is involved when doing removal) basically I factor in the price of mulch, delivery, and installation in one price). For what you did i woulda been around $480-$525 depending on type of mulch requested. Nashville TN area.

That’s how I do it on the invoice for the customer. For the videos I try to itemize it just like I’m figuring it out in my head for viewers. I definitely need to go up on my mulch spreading. Thank you for the great information!

Just for the installation or does that include the mulch as well?

Mulch included. Higher end customers I will charge 100 a yard plus the material no mark up. Varies a little here in western Maryland. Depends how picky and meticulous the install is.

@@mattp2408 That sounds cheap to me for the material, delivery, and spread. I charge $125 delivery fee for anything I haul. Even if it’s just 1 yard of mulch.
