- Sky News host Caleb Bond says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is letting the negative gearing and capital gains tax debacle get “under his skin”.
“Not ruling out one of the policies that killed Bill Shorten in the un-losable election of 2019 was not playing all that well,” Mr Bond said.
“It seems to be getting under his skin though.”

A large portion of renters are ready to buy. But renting is cheaper than a mortgage at the moment. A rush of property on the market would drive the price for buying down. Negative gearing should be scrapped.

What fascinates me is how difficult it is to become a builder and apply for a builder’s license. With the shortage of housing you would think that the government would be fast tracking building licenses, but NO, it is extremely difficult for a tradies to get their licenses, extremely expensive and takes forever for these government departments to process and issue licenses.
