I was a sophomore in college in 1984. What a magical time. If I were to choose one song to represent the 1980's it would probably be this one. It brings tears of happiness. An angelic voice mixed with warm, luscious synth sounds rising and falling over a rock steady drum track. The 80's were truly a unique time, a waking dream that was so different than any other decade I have experienced. This song wonderfully encapsulates the dreamy optimism of being young and hopeful at the dawn of the digital age.

I feel extraordinarily fortunate in ways that are hard to describe in words for me. It is unbelievable how huge the wide spread of styles was, and how many quality players were involved... staggering, truly!!! Her sound style is epic, and has soothed me very much.
