- Alton Haveri reports as Capsuleer aid prevents a number of Triglavian assault forces from destroying EDENCOM production facilities and stealing technology.
In a change of tactical approach, CONCORD and the four Empires have set up EDENCOM, led by Provost Marshal Kasiha Valkanir, to provide a unified command for fortification and defense across New Eden.
The Triglavians seem to be amassing an invasion fleet at a dedicated staging area, with a number of unknown structures of mysterious purpose on site. Kasiha Valkanir assures that new weapons are being developed and built, and the Arataka Research Consortium report on potential invasion targets.

I've been docked in Jita since I left the game a few years ago, it's an NPC station, so my ship and stuff will be safe.

I think so. It's also in the still image released in the CCP dev blog about this next and "final" phase in the Trig Invasions, I noticed it there first and was interested to see it in the Scope vid afterwards. Long narrow triangle of tubes. A triangular Itty 5, if you will. ;)

You can get around the former, though. Gyng-Avesber-Abudban-Rens instead of Gyng-Frarn-Rens... Niarja is a much bigger problem for Amarr/Jita and Amarr/Dodixie routes. Also, Ohide is a little known system people probably go through without noticing anytime they're on the Amarr/Rens route, that's one the only way around is via lowsec (or via going through Uedama/Niarja the long way for Amarr/Rens).

I'd imagine it to be like current trig invasions but with constant gate rats kinda like LS/NS sansha incursions to make it even more dangerous than it already is to fly through trig space.
And ofc, if they really do shut off the gates entirely, even if only temporarily... that's a gamechanger.

Niarja is among them. This is gonna be so good. I predict a massive spike in Catalyst and Hekate sales. Hopefully the 4 empires will become Highsec Islands in a sea of lowsec

They are, but lowsec is apparently going to be vulnerable as well. Just not on Arataka's list.
I always thought trigs were humans on the other side of the original EVE gate who after 20k years of uninterrupted advancement turned out to be impressively more advanced than anything in New Eden and so they wanted to test people from New Eden to see if they could match their level or not before completely revealing themselves
As far as I am aware it is fairly confirmed that they are the last remnants of the jove and thus the last remnants of real human civilization

Yep, the more I think of it... while these new EDENCOM ships might be meant to directly counter Trigs in battle...
From a ship line perspective to us capsuleers, EDENCOM could be the new shield counterparts to the SOE armor ship line we've had for 6 years now... while drifter F/C/BS (at least) could be the shield mirror of the trig ship line we've had for 3 years now. At long last... more shield ship love!
Examined that list of 73 star systems that are particularly juicy to the Trigs. I use or pass through about 19 of them... of particular note to most people, Niarja and Ohide are pretty unavoidable parts of the Amarr/Jita + Amarr/Dodixie and the Amarr/Rens trade hub routes respectively. Love that the list ends with Yulai, the first and only system on the list not in Amarr/Gallente/Caldari/Minmatar/Khanid/Ammatar. ;)
I swear, EVE's lore is so good, and yet many players aren't really aware of it. Guess that's the price for having playerbase this hardcore.
CCP, if there was a way for you to allow Capsuleers to edit and make their own character video's would you allow it?
I believe it'd be a great way for people to tell their own stories on top of the one's you release as news, a point of view from a well versed Fleet Commander, a savvy explorer, or a complete New Bro with some guile and luck.
The stories would be highly engaging and produce a lot of content and bring a lot of reach for EVE, and open many new insightful and creative avenues, if anyone agrees with this viewpoint then could you upvote this so that it's noticed?
You can already do that! Check out the game's RP scene, you could start from the "Intergalactic Summit" section of the official forums. As for the videos - we do that, for example, you can too! :)
We'd love nothing more! If you want to create your own videos please feel free. After all the Arataka Research Consortium who featured prominently in this video are a player-run organisation who delve deeply into the threads of EVE's lore and produce their own video content. We love it when our players pick up the ball and run with it. :)

@@Dragon_OfTheWest There is a setting that turns your background to green in the character creation/customisation. You then pose/record the character and key out the green background. This is likely what was used here. Aside from that, there is no player-available tools to animate characters by other means.
So, new faction of ships are coming? And hopefully more Triglavian ships? I want a Triglavian Marauder or Attack Battlecruiser. A Triglavian Carrier would be sweet, if it came with Triglavian fighters, but looked like there was a Triglavian hauler at least.
Yeah, it appears from the art in CCP's announcement post and also this vid that we might be getting a Trig industrial/hauler first but... yes, the BC/BS area is the only subcap domain there's no t2 option for the Trig line of ships, so it's an obvious place to expand as well. An ABC is an interesting thought as well.

Trig ships are already overpowered pieces of shit and this is very clearly referencing new ships meant to counter trig ships. Being real, I don't bitch much about EvE, but OP trig ships were a mistake.
We need a triglavian explo frigate, or at least a good t2 covops explo frigate.

I've only just started playing Eve, and although it has a steep learning curve (for me anyway!) I have become hooked and now have subscribed, I'm only mining at the moment. but it is a great game
Oh cmon, why mining? Ok, as long as you use your mining money to experiment with different aspects of the game, it is worth it. But seriously, mining is hella low ISK per time.

Nate Dogg Gaming yeah, that's true. But in case it is not just for fun, but also for money, he should consider using the money he makes by mining to experiance other aspects of the game. This is the way I started the game as well, and (for me) it worked perfectly.
I dont really play much anymore due to becoming aircrew on C5s but I really do love how eve does the scope. Lived in NS/WH for 90%+ of my time playing.
Why the trigs chose hot blue star systems as their targets ? Any connection with isogen 5 , Apocrypha, Talocans and the Caroline's star incident ?
Well you know it's gonna definitely tie into Drifter shenanigans and all.
I hope this means edencom sites will still be around after even is over. Just lessen the loot. It's a fun way to switch things up for us capsuleers
The loot was already pretty lessened, man! The only reason I was doing them was for skill accels. And no, they're gone as of the 20th, as the event description said when they started it.
The main disappointment with it was no ISK for site completion (since you know CCP's never gonna put ISK bounties on trigs, you don't get ISK in the abyss or in trig invasions or with the roaming raznaborg patrols, so no surprise that the event sites full of trigs didn't pay out bounties... but trig invasion sites have a DED payout like the CONCORD payout for Sansha incursion sites, so it woulda been nice to get some DED pay).

@@THiNK103088 yeah, I parked my three EDENCOM Drakes yesterday and I doubt I'll use them again for months, if not years. Might throw 'em in a WH or join a Drake-themed Spectre Fleet roam with 'em or something someday. I should probably rip the Cal Navy BCSes off for use on my other missile ships. ;)
k, I stripped off the Cal Navy BCSes and slapped 'em on my new Claymores instead. Sorry, Drakes!
I really wish the old ship models still in the game would finish getting redesigned to look as good as the newly added ships. 😅
We recently introduced an updated model for the Avatar-class titan which was a BIG job and we're gradually bringing older ship models up to the level of fidelity that players expect. Stay tuned!
@@eveonline while I appreciate the effort put into it (it truly does look beautiful) I spend most of my time outside of caps, so Frigates to Battleships are my main point of reference.
I'm sure you guys have a system that you are following, I just wish the redesigns would work from the frigate lines and go up. Do forgive me if I'm being impatient for things that are already being worked on.

it would be cool but i highly doubt it would happen they haven't EVER added a new playable race to eve they probably never will
If CCP adds Trigs as a playable race, I doubt they'll add new areas for them to have as their own empire space... I think it's more likely that the main 4 empires will each lose some space to the Trigs if that happens. Permanently, not just a temporary invasion here and there.
I hope they add another, kinda hoping for ORE so more people go to outer ring
@@gameable1763 the western side of nullsec is the narrowest band, so there could stand to be an add-on over there if they do add more null territory like how they added dronelands to the east. However, all the lore about Trigs is about them vs. Amarr and all, so I don't think they'll be so far from empire space, they're likely to be in the thick of things.

Really hoping this is more like the Triglavian invaded systems and less like gated off instances i.e. Abyssal Deadspace.
It appears to be a combo of the existing Trig Invasions with FW system control mechanics... so yeah, it's not instanced.
So it seems like those tax increases were pointless. We still have to step in where CONCORD has failed. Taxation is theft!
If the Trigs shut down gates in pipe systems like Niarja and Ohide, trade hubs are going to start having to do more local business, everyone and their mother won't be able to get to Jita so easily anymore. This is going to probably raise prices and raise the amount of taxes and fees people have to pay. It's like a double tax. CCPls!

Unlikely. I suspect Jita gets multiple undocks to spit out ships in more directions to un-fuck the current undock.

Triglavians won't attack your station unless you attack them but I'm not sure how it is in a final liminality system

We have armour ships with the troglavian ships. I’m sure we will get a new line of shield ships. I just have no idea what weapon systems they will use. It will hv to be something cool maybe some kind of missile swarm battery thing. Like a rocket bank. Nah who knows. Trig weapons were an ingenious addition. Can’t wait to see!!! 🥰

@@TheBurninghedge between SOE ships (well, the Nestor mostly) and Trig ships, even if the EDENCOM ships are shield combat ships with shield RR...
We're still at armor 2, shield 1 (as in new lines of ships added in the past few years... Mordus has no RR, so I'm leaving it out of the count). So as I said elsewhere, I have hopes for the Drifter line of shield combat ships with some RR bonuses as well. ;)

(from 5 days in the future/2 days after the patch day) Apparently not where they will start, no...
But one of the first 2 new HS Trig invasions after phase 3 patch day was centered on Inaya, which is just 1j from Osmon... so perhaps some may start NEAR the systems on the list, and maybe if the trig side wins they spread TO those blue star systems and create more havoc? stay tuned. ;)

I thought a Thukker and/or Drifter line of combat/shield RR ships (F+C+BS at least) would be nice to balance out the SOE and Trig armor RR BS-especially dominance.... but this is definitely a potential start.

Neither is mine, but there are affected systems within 2-3j of my main area. And more importantly, if these systems get gate shutdowns (either temporary or permanent), Niarja and Ohide are going to truly fuck with Amarr to ANYwhere trade routes. I love my Amarr. ;_;
1:34 is that... a new triglavian industrial ship? also 1:45 that hexagon shape structure seems like the one(or a part of since less detail of showed) at Eclipse quadrant 2 trailer that showed up at 1:02 when a world ark firing some kind of energy cluster through the whole of it.....maybe it will be use to shut down gate or a method to attack capsuleer/player stations or even titan/dreadnoughts? because at Eclipse quadrant 2 trailer after station has been covered in shadow/before a titan got damaged by trig dreadnoughts the since of world ark firing showed up... Also at Eclipse quadrant 2 trailer at 1:03 we can see a scene of dreadnoughts/titans engaging trigs around world ark.... does it mean it will be another new conduit stage which requires titan/dreadnought firepower/tank? just wild guess lol

Barkirk is one of the most common systems the SOE agent in Lanngisi sends missioners, too... but yeah, Osmon itself on the list, I noticed that. Looks like Apanake is the SOE L4 hub of choice should the Trigs truly lock down all systems on that list.

That content was fun and a step in the right direction... but it was lack laster... I thought it was abandoned altogether.

i know what it is about the blue stars anyone with a book from old ancient earth might know what among many things it could possibly be.. Becareful pilots this will get nasty if they don't end up blowing up these star systems .

They look like cruisers... we've already got the Ikitursa in the Trig HAC department, so I'm curious to see what exactly it's gonna be (an Upwell HAC to respond to the Iki could be an option, IOW).
Also, will it be like Marshal/Enforcer/Pacifier in that you can use your empire ship skills in all 4 varieties... or will it use the Precursor ship skills... or something brand new? Upwell ship/weapon skills... oh boy, further SP sink. ;)

Sadly, new ships just doing the same thing ships already do in Eve isn't much of an improvement. What Eve needs is new stuff to do, new roles within fleets, and fixes to years old issues that plague the game. New ships are like shaking keys in front of an infant. Keeps their attention for a few minutes but ultimately everyone outgrows it.

Always these general announcements. Where can I read more detailed information? Why should I join a site? What are the effects of one side gaining the upper hand? What can I expect in the invasions? Which ships can I use to play the invasions? Is it group content or is it also possible as a solo player? Is this PvE content or are you forced to PvP? Since I am not a PvPler, I just don’t want to fly to end up with hundreds of millions of ISK losses. Instead of always such beautiful looking promotional videos, instructions and facts would be important. Have read rumors that maybe high security system can be converted into a low security status, which would be the end for me with EvE because the large alliances will certainly do everything possible to mark important systems for PvP such as e.g. Jita.

The scope videoes are always cool and well made, but i must admit that CCP now dictates market listing prices with how much you minimum can undercut others broke the game for me quite a bit as an trader and builder primarily. And it goes against why i started enjoyinh EVE, freedom.
