@@deandrebradleyjones5094 I mean you could just either separate him from Sonic and let him die of lack of Chaos Energy which almost happened in the comics or just only use the positive energy from the Chaos Emeralds which just puts him at bay which is probably why he doesn't appear anymore because at the time Sonic used 6 of the 7 emeralds which using that energy probably created Fleetway since its unstable due to it being incomplete but still as dangerous

Fun fact: Everyone BUT Shadow(And Knuckles I think) would know who Fleetway is
Knuckles saw Fleetway first hand and nearly died from Fleetway going to beat him to death.
Fleetway also tied burning shadow to death by fighting him in a volcano once I think and nearly killed him
