Wow! This episode was an eye-opener. When Kieffer opened up at the end about his insecurity with where/how to identify himself, I felt really sad that he and others are going through this. It is not something that I have ever considered. Not feeling quite feminine or masculine enough for others to accept you, or have a comfortable place in society must be an excruciating experience. I'm biologically a female but I naturally have always been on the more masculine side. Growing up I often asked myself if I was transgender but the answer was always ambiguous. I recently realized that by asking myself that just because I'm a tomboy girl I was trying to make myself fit in a category that I didn't belong in. I have the right to be manly without being a man, just like you have the right to be feminine without being a girl.
