Thank you Matthew. We’ve just come off of Azura and I learnt a couple of things from your video that I didn’t know about. Will certainly put them into practice when we go again next January!
I am enjoying your informative video about P & O Azura cruise ship while watching Azura out of my window as it is currently moored in Port of Tyne, Newcastle. I actually enjoyed the Caribbean islands when I sailed on her a few years ago.
Hi…just looking to book my first cruise for myself, my wife and my 20 year old daughter. Some great hints and tips here…they all help as compared to booking a typical beach holiday a cruise is quite confusing…thank you.
Thanks for the video. Some great tips for cruisers just starting out on their career, and for more seasoned ones who may have missed some tricks. One thing that you could change for next time for even more engagement is to make sure you are looking to camera, not to the side of it.
I'm booked for two weeks on Azura around the Canaries in February/March 2023. Thankfully her size doesn't bother me as I did my first ever cruise, Transatlantic, on Britannia. I am looking forward to walking around the promenade on Azura as I found it disappointing that Britannia lacked this feature. A promenade for me is a highlight and a blast from the past of cruising.
Just booked this cruise for 2025 and I’ve read some really mixed reviews. I never did any homework before booking. Just saw a great deal £829 full board with flights from Belfast. If it’s a little tired looking now then what will it be like in 2025?
Granted this was filmed in 2019, I never felt the ship felt tired. That sounds a great deal to me! I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time and these ships are continuously maintained throughout their working life :)
@@CruisingWithMatthew Thanks. To be honest I’m not that bothered as I’m more interested in the destinations. It works out at £80 a night full board which is unheard of. A fantastic price!
They're both very different styles of ship! I can't really say which is my favourite as I love Britannia's crows nest, but Azura has a great promenade etc. You'd have a great holiday on either and I'd happily go on both again!

Many thanks for the advice. I like finding the quieter parts of a ship so this will be very helpful.
My pleasure!

That sounds like a fantastic itinerary! Yes I loved Britannia too but missed the promenade deck - you'll have an amazing time on Azura!
Buffet is the same on Ventura

Smoking is aloud on Starport side and non-smoking is port side
Thanks for the information!
Is Brittania a better ship in your opinion
