Cyc looks great! Nice work guys. Could you let us know the size of the wall and if you don't mind, what the final cost was of just the wall and materials? Not the lighting grid. Cheers!
It is 16ftx24ft and 10 ft tall. Total cost was around $2700. We opted for drywall over masonite to build the curve off of a recommendation from a freind who recently built a cyc. Thanks! - Adam
@@KyleLivingood thank you for your question. Materials alone were about $2,700 and then we did a work for trade with our contractor friend who was able to do 90% of the work and we did the other 10% ourselves. The main portion was three weeks start to finish, it was like 90% done after 2 weeks but we opted to do a few more passes mudding and sanding to make sure it was close to perfect as possible. Thank you for watching our video!
Thank you for watching! We still keep a large green screen backdrop behind the cyc! Although I am very curious as to what the wall would look like with a coat of green on it 🤔- Brian
Nice vid, I also enjoyed episode one - your love letter to your old studio. in this regard: what about episode two? YT tells me that it is not available…?
Thanks for checking out the series! Episode two should be available on our channel or in the playlist with all of the episodes. There might be a problem viewing in certain countries or browsers though. - Brian
Dope series

Love the cyc ❤️👏

Looks incredible!!!! How are you planning on handling shoots that require a large green screen? paint or Fabric?

Question are you wall free standing or are they. Attached to your original walls for support
They are ramset into the floor and we made additional braces that attach to the original wall,
How tall is a standard cyc wall?
