Great Video, gotta find the TCS story too. I'm 60 I've had terrible sleep onset due to my over-active brain for my whole life usually 3-5 hours but 8 hrs is not uncommon and doesn't faze me either except I don't get enough sleep. I have been prescribed a few things Seroquel being the best (Metazapine being the worst as it knocks you out for ages + terrible joint pain for me) I started Melatonin about 10 months ago as you can get it over the counter after 55 without a script. We only have 2 mg tabs in Australia and I take one 1-2 hours before bed and it is so good, it halves my sleep onset time almost every night, winds me down to a place where I fall asleep!
I took it for the first time yesterday, it felt like I wasn't asleep nor awake and had bad dreams the entire time and woke up with a strong headache. I don't really know why that happened to me but I think I'll try taking one pill instead of 2. (The instruction on the bottle says 2 though)
Hello hope you're well! Definitely has helped me with my sleep anxiety it's associated bedtime with sleep finally not worrying. Sometimes we spiral and our brain associated bedtime/bed with worrying. Melatonin has helped me and I'm not anxious at night no more panic attacks 😅
@@Carloshernadez1988 hi i am also having sleep problem its 1 month now i am taking medicine which i dont want if i started to take this it will help me ???
10 MG killed my sleep last night, cost me $90 worth of pay and caused me to be heart broken all night long and suck my leg and foot never tanking one ever agian.
Melatonin is definetely safer than benzos, I crashed my car with Xanax, I'm glad I didn't die. When I take melatonin it gives moderate calmness, I compare it with when you have worked hard outside, some manual labor and you come home and just want to relax in sofa. It's nothing like that benzo numbness feeling with no emotions.
Exactly! I wish someone told me this years ago. Trying to go from grave shift to normal for the last 13 years. My doctor prescribed it but didn’t tell me how to use it. For years I said it doesn’t work. Until one day I took it hours before hand & realized hey. This is making me sleepy. Spot on!! Should be on the label!!
Nope. Me and my strange new friend are starting a fight club.

Is Melatonin really useful for sleep anxiety? I hope there aren't any side effects.

You can cut it in half and take less, that's what I have done when I didn't feel like I needed too much. ❤
I dis thar too.
Just got prescribed this today. My Dr said I could take two or five... I'm glad I watched this video.
Same.
Does Melotonin help me to sleep well?
Is prescription necessary to buy it?
Thank's Mam

She doesn't speak with great confidence. Like she is just winging it. BS
It’s seriously not a big deal. Stop worrying.
