This is probably the most humble and honest interview I have ever watched. I have been a big fan of Jon bon Jovi and the band from the first time I heard their music in the early 80s. I'm now almost 50yrs and my opinion has never changed. I really hope that he gets back to touring again here in the UK 🇬🇧.
Yes... given the heavy promo he has done for the doc and album, I agree....THE BEST interview.... the interviews became redundant...but she knows what she's talking about and he's relaxed .. highly engaging ...
@@warmpuppynoses216 when he took his jacket off, you could see he was relaxed... probably a lot to do with Fearnes research... I love this girl as an interviewer
I’ve literally grown up with him, I was memorized by the “Slippery When Wet” VHS tape my parents had of them. Couldn’t tell you how many times I watched that as a kid. I hope to see them in concert one day, I love them, I will always be a humble fan of them
The highlight of my life was meeting JBJ when he owned the Philadelphia Soul. He allowed me five minutes to speak with him one on one in his VIP suite at the Pepsi Center. His character attracted me in the 80s. He has always been an ethical man, and his ethics is was propelled him in how he loves Dorothea, his kids, his fans, and comes thru in his lyrics, his work ethics, and interviews going 40 years back to this very day. He defines role model, and from the moment I saw him at McNichol’s stadium in ‘86 to hearing this interview, he’s been honest, humble, and yet a super star. Jon, you’re one of a kind with a heart of gold. Thank you for being authentic in all that you do and who you are.
Honestly, one of the best interviews with JBJ that I have heard in my 38 years of being a fan. Love the excitement and the different approach not to ask the same questions over and over again. Enjoyed this one to the max. Brilliant job ❤
I have so much respect for him & how he still believes in the American Dream. He cares for others & so down to earth . Thank you for doing this interview!!
humble or not he was smart and knew how to work/ manipulate the music business to get everything he wanted, he put his all to live out his music career, you got to give this man full credit for all the years he pushed to be successful and now is a legend along with his band mates...❤I'm in my 50s and still love his music!!
What was the prejudice of the director of that documentary. You can twist anything to say and show whatever you want even if the reality was the opposite. Never met the guy so I don’t know if it was right or not but what I do know is JBJ is very different to the typical rock star who is so deep in drugs and womanising they can’t even function. Make your own mind up.
Bon Jovi has quite literally been the soundtrack of my life. I was born in 1984 so I've been a fan my whole life. An incredible talent and even better person.
Fat Elvis still sounded amazing…but what a great interview. It’s nice to hear Jon Bon Jovi just speaking like a regular person. Struggles and triumphs. I loved him so much as a kid. My parents wouldn’t let me go to the concert, so my friend and I watched her older sisters get ready and leave for the concert. We played Slippery When Wet on repeat and felt sad all night. I never did get to see them in concert, maybe one day!
Great interview Fearne! Thank you, you won’t remember me but we met back stage at the crow bar Wembley when the Foo Fighters played there, I was working the VIP section, you were very kind and down to earth and acknowledged everyone, keep up the amazing work!
16:48: "It wasn't about "buying the house, it was like is that house a home." That's what it really comes down to, and so often we don't realize that until we're "at the top" and can buy whatever we want, but we are still unsatisfied and alone. Tina Turner, Dolly Parton, Janet Jackson & now Bon Jovi all talk about it, and it's true. But we don't know until we get there. That's why I admire Dolly Parton & Jon & Dorothea's incredible commitment to PHILANTHROPY, and any of the others. We need many more just like them!
Bon Jovi will always be my 1st album I bought with my own money, as a 16 year old from my first job, and I still have it. Great interview, great music & glad he’s doing well. 😀
This was a really great interview. I have been a Bon Jovi fan from the beginning, and his humble personality recognizing his incredible blessings and his responsibility honoring his blessings is great to see. Love this guy!
It’s a pity that your TH-cam channel doesn’t have the following it deserves because more eyes on it because from the telly but you own the direction of authenticity and richness of conversation
I think it’s because it’s predominantly a podcast. You’ll notice with a lot of this type of content, the subs or views here are small, but the main audience and numbers will be podcast figures. I was told this by another YT who does a similar interview/ video highlight for YT.
"Packing up a bag and heading off to Idaho... very high on my list, and Wyoming and Colorado! ❤ the Rocky Mountain West! ❤ JBJ, his family and all of his beloved friends!
If one is aware of their faults and tries to make some things they do about others and not themselves, sure. Just as he's "not old, just older;" he's not humble, just humbled. He shows allot more heart here than most billionaires and politicians can even comprehend.
In general, he looks sad and exhausted. I know, a man in his sixties is not going to look like he did in his twenties or exude the same energy, but this is kinda worrying…
Loved slippery when wet And Crush So many great songs Went to their concert at 19 Seen a few Lucky to meet the band With and without Ritchie Now im 56 Greatful jon still has a passion for music
Fantastic interview and will forever be grateful to Bon Jovi's music and Jon's determination!!! My life changed at my first concert 37yrs oge...Bon Jovi Forever😘

Wow this interview is so relaxed and honest, absolutely enjoyed listening to it. Kinda wish I was there asking questions like this. Just a wonderful conversation about the man away from the spotlight, he's truly inspiring with his wisdom. ❤

I am Watching and listened now Jon's intererview at an American Channel, and I am very amazing as TH-cam didn't make the simultaneous and written translation of this great event. I can't understand any word of this calling, and I am very sorry, as I'm reading the positive comments of Jon's fans. It's a shame, as we are living out of States, we are not allowed to share how he is a great man, other than a great Rock Star. Elena 🥺🇺🇲🇮🇹🗽👎👎 Sorry Jon, MUCH LOVE ALWAYS 🌼🫂

As a fan, I have heard countless interviews, Jon has given….and Richie, as well. They have proven one thing, to me…..Jon is hardly “humble”, and if given the opportunity to talk about Richie’s struggles…..he does. Classless! By now, we all know the demons, Richie battles. After awhile, instead of keeping it relevant, stop talking about it! I was once a HUGE Jon fan…..and while there is STILL a lot of love (40 years), I’m Team Richie❤️
I disagree with you about Jon and Ritchie. Ritchie owed all of the band a reason for just leaving. I think he and Jon loved each other very much but they always competed with each other. You can see how much Jon is hurt over not working with Ritchie and I am sure Ritchie feels the same way. Both are very humble and thankful . Ritchie and Jon are excellent fathers. I pray we all get to see them on stage together again doing. Their thing.
