Nvr used them aside from being forced Hate um and easily beat them all the time What makes them so good? I'm asking seriously Cuz i avoid them like the plague.. Even pick stang snipers over any pack with spiders
@@fepethepenguin8287 In simple terms, they're a good chaff clearer in the early-game that translates equally well in late-game vs Sledges and Stangs, and it wins 1v1's vs Arclights, AA is also great vs any Wasp starts. Think of it as a budget Typhoon that can be more easily spammed from early-game.
I think the scorp drop was the right card. You could sell out of it, and have it unlocked if you needed lvl scorps to counter the potential sabers. Then you'd have cash to tech wasps and grab extra chaff
Ahh, Sabertooths. Destroyer of Tarantula games. The only thing Tarantulas really got over Sabertooths, at least IMO, is they scale harder with levels than Sabers do. Given the choice between say a level 5 tarantula and a sabertooth, I'd probably take the Tarantula since with tech it'll rip and tear. At the start though it is just rough.
Wouldnt putting a saber of your own on the flank have been good? The enemy mustangs and saber would target the crawlers and tarantula before your saber. Both delaying the mustangs for your wasps to get in while also destroing the enemy saber making room for tarantula to ko the stangs.
Sort of surprised you didn't pop anti missile on the sabres when the fars came up on cards, especially since the storms were already out. The hacker play probably was the missplay of the game. Also had a tarratula game yesterday vs sabre and actually won, i was quite surprised, perhaps the little buff to spiders was actually worth it.
Do you think mech rage is a good tech? I thought it's make it better against everything, while HE just makes it better against chaff. I guess it's really expensive though.
I don't understand it fully but I think fang shield are a big problem if you don't go HE and while tarantulas with mech rage are quite good against somewhat beefy stuff you will need more single target damage against beefy giants. So all in all I think mech rage will leave your board in a very vulnerable state but there might be enough tempo sometimes in the midgame to just close the game with it
ive alwasy thought tarantulas are good, they just have a very hard set of conditions, if theyre youre main carry unit youve got to reach 3 techs and get levels on them, if you survive until then they'll kill almost anything you just gotta keep temo, im around 1600 and have great success with them. the other use though is just as insane chaff clear with just HE tech, and maybe range they will clear any ground chaff so much quicker than arcs, a great splash unit if you realise mid game you dont have enough trash clear and have limited drops
Please stop doing the Bearlike thing, it would be cringe worthy anyways but that generic Chinese accent is just kinda offensive and makes it so much worse 💀
@ just giving my opinion wasn’t making a statement that you were doing anything, it’s up to Bearlike if he thinks it’s alright, I just think it’s really cringeworthy and the generic accent is bad that’s all
the channel host is a talking rat. Putting him in dialogue with a cynical talking bear is hilarious. Just because you don't like it because you had a sad childhood without fun and now you have to constantly prove yourself as "cool" and passing ideological purity tests and is afraid of being called cringe doesn't make the dialogue cringe nor offensive.
@ you really could have stopped at your thoughts on why you find it hilarious, the ad hominems afterwards are frankly bizarre. If you are reading in to what I’m saying because you’ve emotionally invested yourself in some ideological war that’s not on me, i expressed an opinion, and instead of respectfully disagreeing with that you go on this bizarre tirade, I don’t get it.
I adore Tarantula Carry - Unit's so versatile and actually balanced.

That bear like at @8:00 😂😂😂
Can confirm I also win games with Tarantula.
Post for stop bear's
Had a really good game yesterday going tarantula hacker vs arc saber, first time I've beaten a 1700 player
I don't know why the Arclight shouldn't scale well into lategame. All 100 supply units fulfill their purpose well into the late game.
8:03 Love Paddington's intervention to help me fully understand the situation :D

great match

Tarantula range + mech rage + HE is the ultimate chaff clear, right?
yes!

that would be a big overreaction

I can vouch for Surrey. I faceplanted on Mech Rage really hard when I didn't smother the mid game. Definitely not consistent.
Gotcha, thanks for the input. And thanks for the content.
arcligths should probably lose elite marksmen, dont know about emp tho, i dont feel like that is problematic
