as a Bihari, I can say,
the major and most important reason is - cast based politics which causes
1)political instability
2)corruption
3) mismanagement.
4) why work, I am from XYZ cast, create chaos and support xyz caste, xyz community will vote for you no matter what.
5) Bihar chooses ministers, who are incapable of growth of their respective work. even an illiterate woman became Bihar CM just because his husband was a political power.

I am from Bihar and i can say confidently that current government of Bihar is nowhere in position for development of state. Recently they are conducting caste based survey just to exploit caste division in society and using teacher as a workforce to conduct survey who are suppose to teach the student!

I am a upper caste Hindu and my cousin brother is a doctor. He was in love with a lower caste girl. At first my bari mummy had denied for their marriage. We made her agree for the marriage by saying that our religion says that caste was given according to work not by the birth...they both are happily married...

I was born in then bihar,completed 10th from jharkhand, 12th from delhi, b.pharma from m.p, m.pharma from karnatka, got training in haryana, started 1st job in himachal,promoted and reposted then to chhattisgarh. In-laws are from maharashtra. I have tried to start up a firm in jharkhand but the response from the government officials and the administration was so heart breaking. They all are full currupt from top to toe. No law and order,no administration, crime at its highest rate, really a turning hell to live . Finally I opted out and relocated in Mp. Government here supported me and now I have given job to 26 more people.

My parents live in Bihar .I was born in Bihar but my whole education from upper kg to 12th took place in Jamshedpur,Jharkhand. I love that place .Whenever I visited Bihar(cities and trains) i started hating that place so much pollution no ethics of hygiene among people too much population .To an extent I hated Bihar but not it's rural life villages I loved them and do love now as well. As I grew I saw so much hate towards bihari just for being existing I started to see struggles of bihari and how their brains have been made dead. So much hate from people who have never even visited Bihar makes opinion and impose on other while if faced same situations they cry against racism. With this realisation I started loving Bihar for what it is it require changes and it will change . But I have started hating those who hate biharis you can hate its policies ,mindset,etc but you don't know how Bihar is and how biharis are then don't utter a word from your mouth. Keep your opinion reserved for yourself. Too many videos have been made on Bihar just on analysis it's waste. Everyones knows what the problem is. This message is for haters .
And for people of India who have a vision and are genuine lots of love to them . As a bihari I assure that we will improve but will not tolerate soft racism or hardcore in any form . Many states politicians make comments on bihari and what not rubbish they did nothing for their state but has the audacity to comment on people who work hard day and night to earn their living. If they have problem stop inflation of labours and if you can't treat them with respect they are not slaves they are workers .Just like many Indians go abroad so do biharis go to other state because of opportunity. Already lot of exploitation is done in terms of wages and work hour .
As a person who is born and brought up in bihar i have constantly criticised bihar's government. Which as a citizen it is our right. One cannot just brush our faults under the carpet for sake of what will other states say. We have to improve our state. However mocking of bihari labor class which worked so hard all across the country is not good as you pointed out as they did not cause Bihar's problems but bihar's politicians did.

I am from Bihar (General), my uncle cleared CTET in 2017, had done his BEd from J&K but till date haven't received the joining letter. My grandma's last wish was to see him to get a govt job but she passed away in 2018, can't even saw her son getting a job even after clearing exam....

To be honest 'Lalu, Nitish and Tejaswi ruined Bihar...'
When I was a kid my village used to have sugercane crops, mangos, litchis, and offcourse wheat and rice along with other vegetables but gradually even the agriculture declined due to various factors including floods, wild animals, corruption and dangerous fertilizers. Now we are only left with wheat and rice with few vegetables and fewer mangoes and absolutely no litchi.
The agricultural land have no access to irrigation facilities or electricity and security is an extinct word in bihar today.☠️
I really miss those childhood days of greenery when we used to celebrate Chhath Puja with our own sugarcane and we sat in our 'gachi' eating mangoes and litchhi😢😭
And those days are never gonna come back.💔

The main reason behind the less development of Bihar is their people... I am from Gujarat and I can assure you 80% of the Gujaratis and Marathis opt to open a business no matter big or small but they opt to open a business rather than doing job.. While this is the reverse case in Bihar.. I have seen public interviews where the youth demand jobs from the govt than to give jobs via business... Biharis need to change their mindset..

As a Bihari myself, I personally think that the most important change which needs to occur is in the Bihar's people's minds because, people have started to acknowledge these problems. They have accepted it as a part of the system and think it's normal.
