With those tins, it's so funny seeing people open them 🤣 I lock my fingers, put my palms either side of the can with the seam facing the middle of my fingers and give it a squeeze. Pops straight open and no sharp edges, well kinda
Amazing Mads 😍 I feel like that was total fate that you had exactly what you needed to make that up to £2k. And… not sure any of us would get bored of watching someone count money 😂
You needed to open the handle on the can opener and then put the top of the tin between the blade and the other circle thing, then close the handle. And then twist
Here from a budgets and dreams recommendation. Well done ☺️. Must’ve been such a good surprise. Those pesky tin openers! I’m dreading opening my tin when the time comes. It’s going to be a shambles 😂. Congrats again! x
I am left handed and have never been able to use a manual can opener - electric can openers for the win! Also feels a little fakey because whyyyyy would those notes you didn't know about look pristine? Like surely you would have to fold it to put it in in the first place 😂
Good lass good saver like me im a tin saver too have been years i do not agree with this cashless crack if the chips go down everyone will be knackd i prefer to save tin wise
i guess a money savings tin is full of surprises, you could expect you didnt save a lot until you just randomly find a stack of cash hiding under everything
Haha! Couldn’t stop laughing watching you try to use the can opener. ( in a nice way) the tin opener wasn’t broken, l can’t believe you didn’t work out how to use it. Next time watch a TH-cam video on how to use something 😊
You should’ve looked through those pound/ 2 pound coins! I saw a commemorative 2 pound coin worth 9 pounds! Also I bet there are some errors and low serial numbers.
Such a skillfull , intelligent , brilliant kind of woman , who rarely we come across such a human being , I wonder if she is truly going to Disneyland as she is saying , and if yes what does that have to do with the British pounds she's counting ???!!
I have many photos from when I went to disney and would be more than happy to share them with you :) So sorry you've been wasting all your time watching content that isn't to your liking! Maybe try watching something different?
amazing well done. money just looks great doesnt it. a little tip to saving can opening the tin. if you lay the tin sideways on the floor and stand on the crease it opens 🫣 xx
The can opener struggle is such a mood XD
I am watching it with my daughter and we can't stop smiling, well done!!

@@BudgetWithMadsso what’s 2024 like😊
Watching you try to use a can opener was adorable 😅
such a struggle haha
How did you get the bundle of notes to be so well aligned and together at the bottom of tin putting them through that small coin hole. 🤔
What an amazing amount Mads! I loved how excited you were at counting it all x
Thank you Kerry! ❤️
You needed to open the handle on the can opener and then put the top of the tin between the blade and the other circle thing, then close the handle. And then twist
Look at all those notes and coins! You did so well! 🎉
Thank you!! 💕

That was so satisfying!!! Big big congrats! I have been so inspired to do mine this year xxxx
hi from australia you can press the sides of the money box it opens easy you dont need to touch the top nice video
Good job. Dont get rid of the can opener. Its supposed to lay flat on the top of the tin. ;)
Great video! I was really hoping you were going to figure out the can opener 😅Well done for all those savings, incredible!
I was wondering if the can opener sits on the top of the rim and cuts around?
I'll have to give it a go, I had no idea!
Those tin openers are meant to be opened flat btw not veritcally. It needs to be in the same plane as the tin
Still watching 😂 amazing! So inspirational 😊
I have one of these cans to open next year, Mads 🥰 How fun! Mines a pop top though 😅 Great video. New friend, here!
I need to find a pop top one! Good luck on the savings 😆

Try opening from the bottom with the can opener the lip edge seemed smaller.
I agree!
Wow that is an amazing amount. My guess was £450, but once I saw you passed that just in notes I was like wow, well done you. Great job.
Thank you!! Much more than I expected too!
I’m American. I like ours. I wish it stayed green only like it used to be.
What are the coins worth in dollar amounts.
How does a full wad of notes end up in the tin unfolded?
Love your videos, if you stand on the money tin sideways the lid just pops off xx
No way!! I'll keep that in mind for next year haha
4:47 RIP £5
Buy your self an electric can opener they are around 14 quid
Did you ever work out that tin opener? Pretty sure it’s one where you face it down towards the tin and twist the turny thing 😂
i did but i think the lip of the tin is too tall for it to work on that anyway!
I am left handed and have never been able to use a manual can opener - electric can openers for the win!
Also feels a little fakey because whyyyyy would those notes you didn't know about look pristine? Like surely you would have to fold it to put it in in the first place 😂
