    After the most epic games 1 performance in Finals history...Allen walks into the locker room casually and says "They can put the 🧹 up tho ain't gonna be none of that." Legend.

    I'm from Chicago, If anybody heard me say this. This is Michael Jordan's town. But for me, My favorite Player of all time, Is the one and only Allen Iverson.He was someone who could put a team on his back,he never played on a great team,if he did he would be one of the greatest of all time. He's like James Bond.No one does it better.

Always enjoyed you perhaps when some had questions regarding your character , seems to me however, you have proven them all wrong . Wishing you and family much peace , love and goodness in your future endeavors. This UTUBE coverage career review really made my day and had me smiling and feeling good throughout . Thanks for the great !!!! GOODTIMES.

    Iverson went to the same high-school I went to,Bethel in Hampton VA, he played QB and kick return. He used to let the ball bounce to him,pick it up and walk 10 yards and start running and score. He was so fast. ABERDEEN RAIDERS 4LIFE

    • @jonaldblip_
      @jonaldblip_ ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, he was unbelievable as a high school all-around football player. And he did that despite being underweight. He made Bethel in to a power, and I don't think they've ever done anything in football once he left. He was a one-man team in football, outplaying entire teams in the Peninsula District.

    41:00 oh my Lord, how I LOVE TO WATCH VINCE CARTER AND ALLEN IVERSON TOGETHER!
    Both my favorite players all time (besides MJ, of course).
    They both changed the game in their own ways.
    They both changed basketball culture, and that's why they have whole documentaries about them.
    And, for me, they both are the goats in their own thing: Vince is the highflying goat, and A.I. is the anklebreaker goat.

    I saw him play in University Hall in Charlottesville, Virginia in the state semi-finals and then the state championship game. People wouldn't have recognized him back then if they started following his career later on. Back then, he had no tattoos (notice how Michael Jordan has never gotten a single tattoo), and he had no facial hair, so he looked wholesome actually. When I watched him play for Bethel High, it was hard to imagine that this was the guy who was so controversial, and he was controversial even before the supposed bowling alley "incident." Fantastic high school player, on defense as well as on offense. But like every high school blue-chip player, he was overrated as a pro prospect. He led his high school team to the state championship as an 11th grader, and those were the last two athletic contests he competed in, in his high school career. He didn't really help Georgetown win anything big. As a pro, he scored 30,000 points, but how many of those mattered? He had that one great year where he took Philadelphia to the NBA Finals and you can't take that away from him. If he had had half the business knowledge that Michael Jordan had, he could have broken the bank on endorsements. But Jordan grew up in an upper-middle class background, and Iverson was so poor that he grew up underweight.

    Hearing his mother talk about how she knew she had a ball player brought back a funny memory. When I was in the 6th grade I was 5 feet 7.5 inches tall and played football. Everyone including myself thought I'd grow to be 6'8" or somewhere close to it and easily in the NFL(I won many awards in football). Here I am at 40 years old........5 feet 7.75 inches tall lol. I still won more awards but the NFL thing never happened.

    The GREATS all have it least 1 ring. You have to know what it feels like to be part of a team that wins at 1 world championship to be great... You have to teach the top and experience the pinnacle of yours sport .... .. A.i. was a gifted athlete with a will to win.. But lets not kid ourselves you need to reach the greatest level to be great.. You cantraise a hand with out a ring when people ash whose great... Every player who has a ring is not great but EVERY GREAT PLAYER HAS A RING!!! ALLEN IS PROBABLY THE BEST PLAYER "WITHOUT A RING" THOUGH
