You are absolutely spot on. Most highly priced art pieces are absolutely shit! The artists mask their lack of talent by calling it abstract art. This guy on the street is absolutely brilliant!
Usually the paint its a standar one that has learned to do it as quick as possible and he just shuffle between ~10 designs maybe. Also the spray paint is around 5 euros each and he only uses like max 10% of a spray, at the end ofna day the profit is more than 100 euros per day
Some of these very talented people doing stuff like this probably make a pretty decent amount, some of them like this artist, like to set up a station in a heavily trafficked area for civilians walking around and do side hobbies like this….. some artists who are making a decent enough living, a few times a week doing these smaller projects won’t put a dent in their income, so they can give back to the community for very little to no profit

They give them money+ let them keep the less expensive items for sale (at least that’s what I gathered from some shorts). The artists work with them.
