why would he? priests don´t do anything with armor but the 3/3 just trades the 2/2... thijs´s deck usually doesn´t win by setting the opponents health to 0 but by getting all 3 horesmen out with beardo... and even if it wasn´t a combo deck you pretty much always kill the 3/3 there cause board is more important than anything
She doesn't seem that big of a deal, try out a couple of different big (7 or 8) dudes and see for yourself which one does the trick for you. I tried tyrion before I opened lynessa and he doesn't really seem like a good fit. Some good picks in my humble opinion include stormwind champ (makes your dks stickier) , bog creeper (solid dude all around), currator (if you want to get experimental), sated treshadon (good with tarim) or grimestreet protector(can protect dks and also shield them).

Guess what he picks the deck he was playing against in the first game. Now e every time I go against him I have to deal with that crap. Lol love hearthstone. WILD PLAY IS BETTER THEN STANDARD.
