Evian-les-Bains, France on Lake Geneva is a wonderful day trip from Lausanne

Evian was and perhaps still is known as a high end resort and spa town, visited for over two centuries by royalty. The renowned springs of Evian brought about the launching of Evian mineral water in 1823 by Genevan entrepreneur M. Fauconnet. Evian was alive with energy when we visited with various art exhibitions and live folk music playing on a small stage.
