The aunt part really gets me. I use to be a fun, involved aunt and hit a depression that I've been unable to escape for 12 years. The more I try to escape it the more anxious my mind gets. I remember my first born niece saying to me one time "you always seem so sad now". That hurt so much that she picked up on that, even as a child.
