I don't care how many people are interviewed about Elvis...it's uncanny how they all pretty much say the same things- he was incredibly good looking, gifted, revolutionary and above all else, a genuinely nice, giving man. Sad that there's so many books out there trying to rake his life across the coals because of his addiction and lifestyle. They always forget to remind readers how generous and thoughtful he was and like all of us, had inner demons and faults. I think it would have been great to have him as a friend for no other reason than he was just a nice person.

Its called charisma, a type if chemistry. Partly comes from having a strong sense of self, confidence and having alot of genuine love to give. Those qualities emit an energy that is attractive. It's not something learned, it just is. He was most likely unconscious of it. Also feeling drained from energy vampires trying to be around him for whatever selfish motives, so he hid alot. To preserve sanity. I think these two would have connected deeper had they both been available, however the friendship must have been grounding for Elvis as he didn't and couldn't trust too many people. =)

In that period, Elvis had 21 albums in Billboards Top 20, nine of them went Top 5, and four of them went to Number One. 13 of those albums went Top 10. He had an incredible 33 singles that went Top 40, and 20 of those went Top 20. Six of those went all the way to Number One. And this is just for USA. His chart success in other countries were immense. Beatles reached incredible milestones in a few short years, but Elvis certainly lived a good life, also in the 60`s.

Really liked her in “Coach” and only recently discovered her singing “Johnny Angel.” Wow!!! I wish the writers of “Coach” intertwined The Donna Reed show into her character as part of Christine’s background. It would have been fun and would have made sense noting Christine’s job at a TV station.

Seems all of the women in Elvis movies say nice things about him.
In all my years of being obsessed with Elvis and studying everything I could find, I have only found two women who said unkind things. I believe them both to be upset because he didn't have affairs with either of them. Thousands of others who were in his life have adored him, like Shelley.
