    I use Illustrator for my projects too but I never knew there was a shape builder tool... This was so helpful, thanks!

    You can do the same thing with 3D documents and custom views, without exploding them, in that way you can keep the model live for future editing.

    How about using autocad instead of illustrator? Better line weights, hatches etc?

    What is the purpose of an exploded axonometric view? What details is it good at displaying that other types of drawings can't do?

    • @richy7tube

      Is it like a way of giving a kind of summary of the structure?

      It can be used to show different functional areas of your building or it can be just some kind of presentation that just looks good and attracts some attention to the project.

    Great video! Im just wondering about the transition part between archicad and illustrator.. Ive been trying to save the axonometry but it just appears as a plan when i open it in illustrator. When I save the view as a pdf, it doesnt appear as vectors, just as a flat image. its probably very basic but i cant figure it out.... could you please explain how you saved it?

      Thanks a lot! To transfer your drawing into illustrator, first of all you need to send your drawing into a worksheet, that way all objects become into lines, and after that from this window just save it as DWG file. Last step is just open this DWG file with illustrator!

    I'm wondering, why all the line work and stuff is all made in illustrator :O ?! Can'T you do it all in archicad? BTW thanks for sharing ;)

    • @Archronicle
      @Archronicle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Completely right! I have video on the channel about illustration made only in archicad :)

      @@Archronicle and what's your opinion about this workflow? better switch to illustrator or you can easily make this in archicad? (maybe couple option in illustrator more powerfull then archicad?)

    great content, keep it up with some nice archicad tips on more modern design etc. but you might change background "music", the ones from your previous videos sounds better when watching..

      Thanks for comment!! This is very important for me! Next video would be about making my logo with golder ratio, after that I want to do video about fatal mistakes in archicad, that could ruine all your project. And after that, something new, that would be related with restoration, I think it would be interesting. Also I will check my "music" better :)

      @@Archronicle nice. it's always good to have some content, since revit is everywhere on tube, no such thing with archicad, at least not for international crowd, so you have niche there, if you will keep it up in english. ;) major topic for anybody would be setting custom template etc, imo.

    When I export from 3d axonometry to 3d document i lose all colors from my model. Can you help me how i turn them back ? You also sometimes switch color to just white and black as i see.

      Open the 3d Document > Right click on a blank space > 3d document settings > model display > uncut elements > set [Fill uncut surfaces with:] to (own surface colors)
