Was in this studio in the summer of 2021. WOW what an experience. They give tours there, and of course the mask thing was a thing then but I did take it down to breath in the air that's in that studio. It was intoxicating. Smelled like an old book store and a week old cigarette. I walked around to the back and thought who would have parked there and in front of the building.Of couse I went to Nashville and Memphis. We drove there from central Wyoming and back. I was down on I-40 should have hooked a left and went into New Orleans. Maybe this spring/summer is New Orleans. Time will tell. I will go back to Nashville and Memphis another time. Too Much to try and take in a short amount of time.
That's awesome, it's definitely on my bucket list of places to visit. My mother and father got to visit years ago when my dad was alive. I sure hope to get the opportunity one day. Thanks for sharing.

Truely great job this is my favorite stuff so much of the early rock was born from the blues and blues from jazz were was blue grass?
Doctor Ross was the greatest blues man.
He was an awesome one man band, great rhythm. We're gonna cover some of his songs in the future. I wasn't as familiar with him growing up but now that I know he recorded for Sun and Chess records I've just started listening to him. Thanks for the tip

I agree a lot of the artist back then were not given the royalties they deserved. A lot of times a starving musician will make terrible deals just to get out of poverty. That I'm afraid still happens. I personally work 52 hrs a week just to get by. We have to play and record at midnight often. But I will say this, to truly feel the blues you have to live it. Anyway just my opinion. Thanks for sharing
