    Retro background music...70's "all of the sudden"! Great PH, wish he was to fly a little bit more higher though.

    Actually, if you look closely at 2:51 you'll see the legs do in fact have skips. They are small, but they are there.

    @MultipleDumbness robbycoats you are correct. he is in the swirl crated by the rotor blades which makes hovering just off the deck very hard to control. he's good pilot.

    Gee what a smart idea... 3 stick like legs with no wheels or skips to absorb, deflect or redirect momentum, that will dig in as easily as metal spikes and ensure you flip over a dozen times from even a mildly hard landing...
    Can you say "Broken Neck?"

  • @TheLamas408

    Sounds like Russ Freeman and the music of the Rippingtons. Is this the same Doug who has been a factory test pilot at Robinson Helicopter Company since he was just a young pilot? If so, I flew with him in 1992 and he can fly pretty well.

    @drewfilms123 What do you think drives the rotor in many supposedly "safe" certified helicopters, Like an R22, an R44 or a Schwiezer 300??? Belts.....
    and they fly safe and sound thousands of times a day or more across the country!

    @CoonsterVideos I assume he's being light on the pitch so he can land quickly and not break anything... Judging by how he flies I don't think he's done it much.. These do go higher.

  • @fmjjoker2
    @fmjjoker2 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    It is very difficult to hover a machine like this so close to the ground. He would do better to use a hovercraft for this sort of thing. Its really too bad that a machine that looks so cool cannot fly higher. With more power this thing would be perfect for beating traffic on the way to work. Boost up the power and lets really see this thing fly!

    Have to laugh at the people complaining about the music, doesn't your keyboard have a mute button? Or did you forget how to hit the back button for the porn site you were just on? It is his clip and his choice, perhaps if you ever get the balls to fly one, you can chose a better selection for music. Like a funeral march....

    I was thinking the same thing. Y not crank it up and show us some high G turns? is it 2 windy..the trees in the back ground show wind 10 to 15 mph...maybe u should have waited till the air was like glass.Man that thing should fly like and R/C Heli ,it's small enough.

    It's a real question, and this question is as important as what motor he have used, does he use gyro or something like that..
