- Anxiety is one of the many struggles that plague our lives. Though it may not seem obvious, anxiety can stem from a lack of prayer and consistent communication with God.
In a message titled “Anytime Anxiety Comes,” Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. encourages us to use prayer as our main tool in combating anxiety.
There are many examples in the Bible where we see how our triumphs will be the direct result of our prayers. Even a simple and straightforward prayer can make all the difference, take the prayer of Jabez for instance.
We must remember that when we become crippled or overwhelmed by emotional stressors, going to God in prayer will be like an umbrella in the rain. Making you feel safe and protected while you face the challenges of the day.
Prayer is not the last resort, it's the first response 🙌🙌

A month ago my university decisions came out and i was rejected,it crushed me because i had high hopes.Today was the late admission and i still did not get in.I was disappointed, i am scared indeed but it did not crush me like the first time and i did not cry at all because after the first disappointment instead of turning from God I dove so deep in His word,I started praying every day when i felt the tugging on my heart.It gave me this peace that I had today and truth be told,I am a world-class worrier.So this is a big deal and hearing Rich speak about it just assures me that I am moving towards something bigger!!!✨

Courtney Nyathi I felt like i should post a little bit of an update here,incase somebody is reading it who is in need of this.I made my comment 9 months ago,i was so scared bc i didnt know what to do/how my life is gonna turn out.All i knew was that nothing interested me more than to study psychology.(and after i visited the Netherlands 6 years ago i kept telling friends/family that i want to go back bc i was mesmerised). Fast forward to 2 months ago:I got in to the best psychology programme in the Netherlands!!!I didnt plan to wait 2 years for uni,it wasnt how i imagined my life path to go,but it was exactly what God wanted and how perfect it is!He got you,he always has a plan✨💗
tulip power. I’m kind of going through a similar situation as you. Except I’m in the waiting process. I don’t know when and I don’t know how, but all I know God knows the way forward and the next plan for me! My priority for me right now is staying in prayer! Congrats on getting into the program!
When anxiety comes, PRAY! The frequency of your prayer is significant!! This formula is helping me battle through anxiety. I am hoping again and honestly going to God for help! God, Bless me, allow me to have Influence, Anointing and Protection - AMAZING word!

I wish TH-cam had a place to take notes. I need to recite this verse when I'm anxious. I take medication for bipolar depression and anxiety. Back when I was little we would go visit people on weekends, we would speak to our neighbors across the fence. We used to go friends houses after church for lunch and spend the afternoon. We used to get lots of Christmas cards, not anymore. You can't even buy them. I miss the old days when socializing was different. I wish cell phones and Facebook and all the other social media's didn't exist 😪.I get anxious about getting anxious. I will follow these steps when praying.

What an amazing night it was. I remember talking to a servant leader before the 7:15 session, asking him what it was like and he said it was different. I need Prayers for hospital anxiety. I used to love going to my hospital appointments, but something happened in November, so now I am incredibly anxious around hospitals. I now can’t go to hospitals because I always get flashbacks and anxiety.
