Nice riding, but personally I'd advice to use the second gear a little more often in some corners. although the gearing needs to add up to it as well. Saw you tagged my mate in this video on the focused events page
No worries. Yea I think I followed your mate for a few laps on his gixer600. Lovely lines he had. I liked 3rd gear. I did a 1:52 on the infield using 4 gear on the 1st day and think your to busy if your going down to 2nd all the while I was using 15/46
Let me check my gearing (where on the same bike) I really needed the extra punch coming out of some corners to keep up with the 1000's though I struggled with the left right combination before the no overtaking zone, because shifting back unsettled the bike and I needed to brake a little earlier, in 3rd I didn't have the proper drive going up the no overtaking zone and lost quitte some time It's a tough track to make an overtake on 1000's because of the flowing parts of the track don't really follow up with hard braking area's. Nice times, was it you first time in Almeria? I'll post a lap or a session in due time and will overlay my gps data on the video. Unfortunately I didn't have my Gopro on the bike when I did my best session.
@@Baartaapje gutted. Neither did I. I managed a 1:51.7 on the last day. Well I did have go pro on but memory card had a wobble an only recorded 3 mins. Yea it’s really hard and I don’t think you will ever keep up with a 1000 there. Especially when they have traction control too. That’s the 3rd time I’ve been. You can check my other vids. Be good to see your lap👍🏻
