Main reason for this event is to finish the year strong for nexon. This event forces you to stay logged in which is the bottom line for all and any potential investors for nexon. If they can somehow show that they have X amount of players logged in, investors wont shy away investing more on the game. Also combine that with 6th job release the statistics would show the game is growing even after almost 20 years. I myself would probly skip this event as i cant have my laptop on 24/7. That 4 hour CD is killer man. Fitting that in with my 10 hour work day is gunna be tough. 2 times a day is pretty easy it’s that 3rd. But I guess I can still make it with even 2 a day, 3 on my days off.
I could recommend a remote computer control app, Awesun is the one I use, but there should be some other basic ones that'll let you control your pc and input a few basic inputs to go in and let it get clear.
Take the lift on the far left, According to your rank you have a limit of AFK time starting at 120 min and increasing 60 minutes each rank and adding 1 dispatch slot per Tier. The map you afk in to grind units is on the bottom left, and the Star Force looking portal on the bottom right is the boss portal. The boss can be beaten 3x a day, with a 4 hour cooldown so it will take you a little over 8 hours to do all 3
Doesn't really matter. If you have a level 101 or above character, you can do it on that for the exp you get from it. Legion block is only rewarded once, so it's up to you on which character you want to do it on
rest exp events like this generally dont give much especially at higher levels, just a passive exp. Still do it on a boss mule because Jan 3, the patch notes say you can buy a 3k rep absolab wep box
Does anyone know if we can get both the level 200 and level 250 legion block if we do it on two characters? From the wording of the patch notes it says multiple ranks of blocks can be rewarded, and the event is per character for some reason.
@@austinmahone6322 Yeah I found it out, On the patch notes it says, Achievement rewards per world, and doesnt say anything about the requirements needed to get the lvl 200 block. To get the legion reward you need to complete the achievement quest Ancient Abyss Forest from Pascal NPC, which I listed the requiremnts below You can technically do it on 2 different worlds (i.e reboot kronos+hyperion or reboot+reg) but it would require you to esssentially afk for 24 hours a day by the end of the event, not giving a lot of time. So I would just stick to one and get the max requirements you need for the level 250 block ( Commander rank master 3, level 220 total merc levels, and defeat abyss manon) I'm still gonna try get the 2nd legion block in case they made a mistake, but its likely limited by the world still.

Its kinda iffy, idk exactly, but you cant even go AFK for longer then 5 hours until Senior 3 which is like 1/3 the way up the ladder. So looking at the video, you need at least 22 level 10 mercs, and each merc takes 800 minutes to get to level 10 according to his charts @2:35 . Assuming one char 0-10 straight all day afk no interaction... So 22 mercs x 800 min = 17,600 min, 7 days to get first lv 10, 5 days to get 2 more lv 10s, 4 days for 3 more, then at the Senior rank 2 cap of 300 minutes or 5 hours, you can max 3 more characters every 3 days. Getting to Sen II you will have spent 16 days getting 6 maxed chars (assuming you need at least 5 maxed equipped mercs to take out boss.) That leaves 32 days to get the remaining 160 levels and at 30 levels every 3 days, you can reach that in...just over 2 weeks, just gonna round up to 18 days for 180 levels. That process takes about 34 days leaving 2 weeks leftover. It does say "accumulated levels" so assuming you could circumvent a level req by instead having a lv 6 and lv 4 to make 10 to hit Jr, and also assuming you pay attention to how long each unit takes because it takes a fraction of your cap on the last day you could level multiple characters in tandem and reach the cap fairly easily but Thomps mentioned the fastest is like 25 days or some odd. TL;DR Math and Logic could be off, so dont take my word for it, but I think you should be fine
i think after u finish doing the max dailies/bosses on ur main, its worth afking on loweer level charactesr. for free exp similar to unity training center in mu long
Does the boss cd timer still tick down when offline? I don’t mind staying on for the bot farming, but to stay online for that 12 cd is actually stupid.
it would be awesome if you could actually have the game open and show examples of what youre talking about for some things with the information attached for people who havent fully checked out the event yet, because all they will see is pictures and info but not know what exactly to attach it to. just a little suggestion, i think it would make it easier to follow

I dont think the event missions or afk timer gives that much exp to boost a mule to 200 from 164, but not 100% sure. It does say in the patch notes on Jan 3 iirc, you can buy an abso wep box for 3k rep.

You get boxes for merc gear and stuff related for use in the event. Merc level is tied to time in map so their power doesnt matter until you need to fight a boss like clearing manon to get your legion block. You CAN time out and fail to clear a boss if your mercs are not properly geared
Legion is a server system, it should similar to the previous one where the Lab block is accessible across all chars in that world as legion affects your account on that server.
If you cant do it at all, then I dont think its worth doing. Theres no event shop or any other things that arent tied to the rewards like the legion block, mount, etc. HIGHLY recommend doing it because a free +35 att/M att piece that doesnt take a legion slot is amazing and so far, has only come to GMS one other time tmk. Even at say 5 hours afk time, you should be able to max enough mercs and take down the boss needed.
No, you can only do 2 hours. the amount you can afk is based on your commander rank. Commander rank can be increased by spending reputation coins, and reputation is obtained by afking.

Actually its only 2 hours day 1, and +60 min per rank. The boss CD i believe isnt tied to you being logged in. Yes, LATER in the event you can AFK for up to 720 min, but you should already be well maxed by that point and if you do the missions, be well equipped to take out Manon long before the events over. But you probably didnt werent paying attention xD

Its pretty passive. You start with 2 mercs, and can hire others later for rep. But you need a total of at least a total of 220 levels across 25 mercs, so 22 lv 10s, or 25 lv 9s Yes its worth doing, the grand prize is a legion block that is 5 squares (equivalent to a lv 250 char) that you can add to your legion board ON TOP OF your char cap, so if you can only put down 16 characters in your legion board, you can still add this onto it giving you 5 squares of stats, and +35 w/m attack. Theres only been one other event in GMS that did this which was Lab server event

One of the Daily mission was to :take a picture of Abyss Birk. How do we take pictures? Can't use items in boss room. Do they mean screenshot??

I recommend Mule, later on, on Jan 3 I think it says in the official patch notes, theres a 3k box for an absolab wep.
