OWDC 2023 Entry

my entry for smwcentral's 2023 overworld design contest. this was a vanilla contest which means custom resources aside from qol patches like increased speed were not allowed.

forest: crusader: no remorse - rebel base 2
cave: terranigma - prime blue
mountain: chrono trigger - brink of time
bowser map: mario paint - mysterious
star world: sonic cd (jp/eu) - metallic madness zone (good future)
postgame: little midnight song

"Iggy's Nuclear Plant" is so surreal yet perfectly in character for iggy lmao.
I really love the big changes to the overworld.
Makes it feel like you have a huge impact on the setting.
