Ko Wen-je's arrest is completely fabricated! The prosecution has found no evidence of any illegal financial transactions! They are accusing him of profiteering based solely on a reward for floor area ratio incentives that had been reviewed and relaxed by dozens of experts! (Ko Wen-je didn’t even attend the meeting!) To put it simply, imagine if New York were to build a new landmark. They want to construct a prominent building, and the developer hopes to receive a floor area incentive (so they can build higher). The government demands various social contributions from the developer in exchange for granting these incentives. It’s entirely within the legal scope, yet the authorities are detaining him for "profiteering"! The key point is that there’s no evidence of illegal financial transactions! The only reason is that he is the chairman of the third-largest opposition party! I hope our friends in the world can understand that the Democratic Progressive Party is gradually learning from the Communist Party and becoming more authoritarian!
Judicial injustice, Dr. Ko's detention without concrete evidence including the cash or financial transactions for the Live Mall reconstruction case is a sign of democracy regression.

Same cases get totally different trial results, and the ruling party even help hide the critical evidences by making them national secrects.
