This video helped me route the lines perfect. No telling how long this barn find was sitting. But a fresh carb and spark plug air filter kit along with some fresh Echo RedArmor she fired up on the second pull! Im beyond happy!
Thank you for posting this video. I bought one of these almost new from a discount place that buys clearance and returns from Home Depot etc. I paid $35 for it. Couldn’t get it to run. Watched your video, bought the kit from Amazon and got it running today. Glad I kept it. Awesome job!
@@smallengineguys tried spraying some starter fluid in with no success, its turning over but not much more, guy said it was a new spark blug, i checked the connection but im gonna pull it and make sure its the right one, maybe compression test next?
@@stevechamberland6657 if it was just a spark plug he would of done it. Check spark. Pull muffler look at piston. As long as its smooth with no lines youll be fine. Gives you a chance to look for carbon build up as well.
@@smallengineguys so plug is brand new, turned it over a handful of times with lights off and didn't see much for spark, got muffler off and piston has some pretty noticable lines on it
it is in the description. if you are on a mobile devise there is a down arrow next to the title that brings you to it. but till then here carb amzn.to/3a1fYEV
yes. the gasket between the carb and the motor has a small hole that lines up with the small hole on the back of the carb. that small hole is the vacuum line that runs the fuel pump that is built in your carb. without the gasket it will not run correctly
Thank you! Beginner, but I was able to follow allong and install a new carb and fuel lines on my ryobi blower, and it now works good again. Thank you for the video. Idea: Maybe start a venmo account so people can throw some money your way for your helpful videos? I know I would if you had that, but I don't want to mess with gofundme.

squirt a touch of gas in the carburetors air intake and try to get it to fire first.if it fires it has compression and spark do this repair.

Inspired me to join some small engine repair groups on Facebook, posted pictures of piston, confirmed trashed and likely run with straight gas
found one in the dumpster...lines were worse than yours! Used this video and some bulk fuel line and she started on 3rd pull!
nice
