    Hey guys
    Great videos.
Question I have is we cannot have prescribed fires in my area.
Can I use glyphosate to kill the understory after a cut ?
    Thank you

Thanks for watching! You can use herbicide if you you are trying to control the woody vegetation and keep it more herbaceous growth.

I’m wondering what you think about pollination importance. The time required to pollinate an oak and make an acorn is about 10 days most times. Do you feel having more pollinators in the area would naturally increase the amount of food produced per acre?

Having more native pollinators is crucial! Having more bugs is important also, those bugs mean bird food so more bugs can mean more birds etc etc

Oaks are wind Pollinated, no insects needed.

Hickory does decent here , not a super high value tree but it is worth 50 cents a board foot when took to the mill, and that amounts to a lot when u get a semi load of big hickory , we was getting 1500 a load and before split with logger it was 3000 a load

Lol, I'm pretty sure the hunting public founder knows about deer habitat and what to create and what they want. Funny to see him in that role in a video
