Nice i did the same thing, seems like common sense and mechanical know how. However i thought oil would come out to lubricate those parts if the valve cover was removed. Good job

Thanks I would love you to make a video on the wiring connection of the panel of a firman generator to the oil sensor, the switch. Thanks I love your videos
Will this work on a diesel too? I have a 3.5kVA that starts perfectly with electric starter but has always been impossible to pull start - the valves are presently set as per the manual.
@@bencoinstitute Heyhey, you're the man! After you replied I followed your method; it would not ignite using the cord so I used the starter motor to check if it was running ok then re-adjusted the exhaust rocker. After some re-re-adjusting, voila, she started first pull, and no effort. The engine was quite warm, so tomorrow I'll check when it's cold, but I'm sure it will be ok - here in the Philippines it's always warm weather. Thanks for the fast reply and helping out.
Is it advisable to adjust both valves the same way? I didn't move the inlet valve because I didn't want to mess with the amount of injector fuel entering the cylinder (and possibly the carburettor mix on a gas engine?). If you say it's ok then I'll adopt that from now on. Cheers.

Can you please make a video on how to put brand new packing rings on a piston before adding the oil and pressure rings. Due to the structure of the packing rings , it gives me issues while putting it so I don't put it when fixing engines
Wow!!! This is interesting sir.. Thanks for the knowledge sir...pls i want to ask does bad Cam shaft also causes the stiveness of an engine? And again sir....hope you know if you adjust the valve too much most especially the Ehaust side... it's becomes too free.
Saved me .... Thank you ... was looking everywhere for a fix.
Great to hear!
Nice 👍
This save me a lot of time and money thankyou so so so much for this great video.. ...you just earn ya self a like an a new subscriber
Saved me too. Many thanks
wow you can just tell that this generator is the real deal. This na real big fireman gen
Yeahhhhh
If you need Hala us..
Sharp one
Really interesting, Thanks For Sharing

So enlightening❤
Thanks
I love it❤❤❤❤
Thanks brother...

One cylinder.. Yes

Going to get low compression doing that, and backfire on exhaust and/or burping from the carb.
Have you tried it?
Thanks a lot, this is very educating...
What do I do when the led bulbs in house are flickering but the generator sounds fine...
Oh Check the input plugs connected to your gen... Could be making partial contact
No I just want to have the idea on how the cables are been connected

I have many videos where I fixed parkin rings
Go check them out
Good work, if the valve is too close to the spring will it work very well, bcos some will say it shouldn't be too close to the spring
If it is too close.... The gen would loose compression
Wow!!!

Sure Bad cam shaft can definitely cause stiffness..
Yes, that is exactly the more reason why u should set and rotate to check the compression
What makes the valve to break
Weak valve or overload
So there's no need to open top cylinder, wow
No need at all
