Exploring Replacer as a generative tool in Bitwig

  • Sketch piece utilising Replacer and the PolyGrid as a generative compositional tool in Bitwig. The chain begins with an audio in, taking the Ciat-Lonbarde Plumbutter as its source and, via the grid, generating a series of notes based on a pitch set which are then sent to the piano.
    This music is tuned in Erv Wilson's 2)4 Hexany 1-3-7-9

      That's exactly what I did in a modular environment b/f realising it could be done in the DAW too! Enjoy :)

      Nothing, it's just Airwindows' Meter - an audio analysis tool, for a bit of visual interest.
