Bolševikai tegul žino (Let the Bolsheviks know) Is a Patriotic Lithuanian Anti-Bolshevik song which sings of the Lithuanian resistance against the Bolsheviks, Lithuanians on two occasions faced the Bolsheviks in an armed struggle, Once in 1918 - 1919 when the newly formed army of the Republic of Lithuania faced the Bolsheviks who threatened the Republics independence and a second time between 1944 and 1953 in a Guerilla warfare where over fourty thousand Lithuanians faced the Bolshevik forces in the territory of their homeland in a brutal decade of conflict and despair in an existential battle for the future of their homeland.
It is unknown who the author of the song is, And no one has ever stepped up to claim ownership, But it is believed to have been used in the Lithuanian partisan war against the Soviets and is believed to have been passed down in time from there.
