Note: Because the afterimages don't attack, the safest play would have been to let them live and climb up onto the platform with your other units, as it will prevent the boss from being able to teleport.
This was so helpful! Was not aware you could block the ladders and keep enemies from climbing them. Thank you so much for this video, was able to get to hard to do the daily runs before tokens rolled over.
Also, be careful of the teleport - it always goes onto the lowest health unit, so bodyblock the possible tiles to ensure the boss always teleports onto the ground and misses!
The purple weapon i had equipped gave me a random buff - in this case a movement buff. The general strategy remains the same - but i'll see if I can't reupload with the proper strategy.
th-cam.com/video/Aci6bZbZYyA/w-d-xo.html I reuploaded the video. Note that I am overleveled, which is why I skipped some turns and didn't use skills much. You can still follow the movement. The general plan is: 1. get the high ground ASAP. Once you take it, you are immune to the boss and free to dps it down 2. Kill the extra enemies first - they have ranged attacks 3. Watch for the teleport - it always goes after the lowest health doll, so put that unit on the ladder tile, put two units to its side. This should block every adjacent tile EXCEPT the low-ground tile at the base of the ladder. The boss will always teleport to that position (unless it is blocked by an afterimage or enemy.) 4. If an afterimage gets too close to the tile we reserved for the boss to teleport to, kill it. Otherwise, the afterimages can actually help by taking up teleport tiles for the boss
@@SeeIie th-cam.com/video/l6v7mXceC14/w-d-xo.html Unfortunately, I am kind of overleveled. The same general strategy applies though - rush her as fast as possible, and ignore the Steles. In my original run, I used Littara and Peritya, who are AOE focused. You can borrow a friend support for more damage. Colphne is also good at keeping everyone healed and can do some damage as well.

@@SeeIie Do you mean Chapter 2? I just brute forces her down, ignoring all her mechanics. Do you want a guide?
@danielchen1047 yes please... I keep getting wrecked by the traps and she just kills me before I get her down if I ignore the spawns
