Hidden Roman Ruins in Suburban Ankara

🇹🇷 Although Ankara is not among the top travel destinations in Türkiye (Turkey), it has many amazing historic sites and ancient ruins.
Especially the suburbs of the city are full of desolate Roman, Hittite, Phrygian, Ancient Greek and Byzantine ancient ruins. No one really knows about these sites nor visits them.
In this video, I show you a very unknown, off-the-beaten-path place in the outskirts of Ankara.
The hidden Roman ruins you will see in the video are located about an hour from downtown.
In Turkish, this site is known as "Kazan Karalar Roma Tapınağı" or "Asarkaya". In other sources, this place is called "Mariegordus".
