Hi, man! Thanks! And yeah, this is what I have been working on. It was surprisingly easy thanks to the resources cited in the video description. But I don't think I'm gonna use it that much (I doubt I'll ever have the patience to render my own cutscenes). But I just published the following video, basically built on top of it. th-cam.com/video/Uwuck6xLL7A/w-d-xo.html
@@adrikriptok7225 oh i didn't see the resources, thank you! i took a look at the converters between different video formats, and it's great to know that flic is within these commonly used formats :)
@@LeoOno There's code for an encoder too. I might try it some time. To turn this "player" into a basic video editor that allow to replace or add frames. And if I ever add support for GIF or AVI, it would be cool too be able to transform them to a more modern format. Either way, I'm going back to collisions now. Haven't still perfected it, but after all we talked about, I believe we've arrive to the best possible solution.
@@adrikriptok7225 functionalities of an editor would really useful ... now i remembered that i used to watch and rewatch the intro video of "formula one grand prix 1" game from micropose, it was so cool, although i was really bad at the game itself xD ... Oh ok, look forward to seeing the result :)
@Adrian that's awesome! now you can add cutscenes in your games!
is this format complicated? so that's what you were working on :)
