How are the wait times for busses when going to the parks and waiting for a bus to head back to the hotel? I remember all stars movie bus times were awful. We stayed at pop last time so used the skyliner but we want to stay at animal kingdom lodge this time.

It can vary. We've stayed at AKV many times and we've never had a bad experience with transportation there BUT I know some people who won't stay there because it's farther away from MK and takes longer to get there. The transportation from AKV to Animal Kingdom is excellent! The trip is very short and convenient. The trip to Epcot or Hollywood Studios is not too long. The trip to Magic Kingdom is a bit longer. On the other hand, if you stay at a Magic Kingdom area resort, you're far away from Animal Kingdom, so it's all relative. I would say that if you want to be at MK a lot, AKV may not be the best choice. But we still LOVE AKV and would stay there again any day!
