Thanks for all the excellent information and demonstrating on making jewelry. I have recently started working with copper, making bracelets, rings and necklaces. My background is in race cars but due to my age and health conditions, I have gone from cars to golf carts and now to jewelry. I assume that everything I am learning from you is applicable to working with copper. In any case you have helped me begin my new journey. Thanks a million!!! PS: my wife loves the jewelry much better than the race engine I built for her!
You're welcome Stanley! Copper doesn't always behave exactly like silver, so do a little experimentation with it prior to jumping into a major project with it:)
Thanks MSnyder! I do generally if I can find a spot to stamp them:). Here is a video on bezel setting a faceted stone: th-cam.com/video/n5glS69ifWM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RJY4hS1PTzeshi3O
I was wondering about the same since I have'nt seen any of the jewelry being hallmarked. Could be interesting to learn more about where's the best spot and ways to do it on smaller pieces. 🙂
