Mammoth Hot Springs Upper Terraces: Virtual Yellowstone Tour!

This virtual Yellowstone tour covers the Upper Terraces at Mammoth Hot Springs. This is one of several videos in our TH-cam channel which include Mammoth. The others take in the Lower Terraces, and historic Fort Yellowstone.
The Upper Terraces consist of two main features, the boardwalks and a drive around a loop which goes through a portion of the area, and can be accessed from the switchback road between Mammoth and Swan Lake Flat, just a little to the west of Fort Yellowstone. Parking is, unfortunately, very limited, but when you do find a parking spot, take a stroll down to Canary Spring, which for me is the highlight of the area.
There is also a boardwalk which connects the Upper Terraces with the Lower Terraces, and you can see more of the connection in our Lower Terraces virtual Yellowstone tour.
Once you're in the Upper Terraces area, there is only one way out, and that is on a small loop road, which will take you through various other live, dormant and dead thermal features, before dropping you back on the Grand Loop Road.
