Fun video sir. crazy timing on this. I just got a Bakcou Mule e-bike for early birthday present from my wife. These new e-bikes are rugged, poweful, quiet, and a ton of fun at night with NODS on!
As an ex hard core mtb guy, racing ultra endurance, I really appreciate your review. I started hunting off a mtb in the 90’s and can tell you it works. As an old f#ck who still loves bikes and shooting an ebike is high on my list. This bike is on the heavy side and a lot of the areas I hunt don’t allow e-bikes with throttles. Pedal assist is normally treated the same as a regular bike so they are gtg. When this company produces a pedal assist bike @ 50 lbs @ $3k or under I’ll be all over it. The inverter is cute but I have other options I’ll lean on. The solar array is very interesting and if I can plug it into my trailers solar array may be of interest. Honestly, spending this kind of money means we can afford it. Focus on the core product and let me use my other tech so I get more for my $ in the bike. Hope that doesn’t sound strange but my ebike dollars will be spent on just that, the bike. The rest will be spent on guns and ammo…
Great comment and thanks for watching. So, I have a Franken project in the works using an older Cannondale Scalpel. 50+ mph at just under 50 lbs with about a 15mile range flat out . 👍🏼
@@XRINGsounds awesome. I have been threatening to school my 17yo son on downhill. Truth is, without the “E” advantage I would be eating my words. Looking forward to your scalpel project!
Cool review. I have seen electric bikes featured on some other channels and have thought it would be nice to get one. Does pedaling generate any electricity? What kind of range are you getting out of it before needing to be charged? How long does it take to charge if it is plugged into the grid?
Great review, been thinking of something to get me to the back of my property, without dropping 20g on a side x side! Ray are you planning on making the team sniper event at Colemans Creek? Take care my friend 😊
I've worked on several hunters' e-bikes. They're adequate for recreational use. If you're thinking about actually riding it like a bike, I'd suggest something nicer/lighter/more durable
Get a 100 w solar blanket (5-7lbs) and a mmpt boost charge controller (1lbs). $135 for solar blanket and $35 for controller. Also, you’d be far better served with a full suspension e bike like the 60v, 2400 watt Wired Freedom. 40mph and $2000. Based in Chicago with real customer service. Once you try a high powered full suspension bike, you’ll be ruined.

You two are out of control.
Love my Basalt. It’s pretty hilly here and the bike has no trouble keeping this septuagenarian out on the road.
Pretty interesting, I never really considered something like this before. A nice bonus video.
Great content and I'm glad you're health has improved!
Thanks Hope! I’m trying
Dang, thanks, Ray! This was great. Appreciate the different content. Very thorough review, detailed and helpful.
Inspector Gadget vibes from the intro and had me laughing with the brass bit near the end. I love it!
Lol! I appreciate it. I definitely wanted to give it a different flare. 👍🏼
I vote to see the shock install and review!
Nice review. Pretty neat bicycle. Would like for you to video the shock upgrade. Glad you’re doing ok. Have a good week sir.
Departure indeed, well werth the prices of admission. Thanks Mr Ray for sharing

Awesome Ray! These e bikes are certainly impressive. Thanks for the review.
Running across this channel, like seeing a different format for this bike...
I have a German Shorthaired Pointer and we do some bikejoring. I normally get about 10-12 miles before he needs a charge lol.
Seems very natural to tumble brass out on the trail, lol. 🙂
That was the strangest review you've ever done but I still enjoyed it, Ray.
Excellent demo and review........ Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Great review thank you !
Cool bike I could sure could use one thanks for sharing Ray
Assuming you need to buy the charging panels and inverter separately?
Yes, but sometimes they run specials on them with a purchase.
Now, how long does the batteries last coming up that he'll to you house 😅😅

Will it Tow a small trailer?
Probably so with the 450lbs weight rating. Purely speculation

For sure. I know many of the e-bikes are going for like 5-8k easily.
Might be better off getting one of the Surron mid drives like CAG uses 👍🏼
I got my bassalt and how do I get the throttle to go 27 and not stop at 20mph
You can go into the master settings menu and increase the top speed.
I think it’s both the up and down button simultaneously.
And I never leave anything alone I tweek everything...
Yes please give us the Mod. Update I'm very interested in one of these
Will do! Should be a huge improvement
Great video, very James Bond'ish.
Salut on est loin des vidéos tld mais c’était bien fun 😂
Awesome!!
He used the bike to tumble brass in the woods!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOL

No thanks for any Evil Vehicles [EV]
They aren’t for everyone that’s for sure.
Does the bike come with the solar array? Its not listed on the website or any mention of it anywhere on the website.
