Thank you, my dear and kindly playing Bolands too and eating some Nestlé crunch with some 2% fat milk and a nice cup of warm sugar tea and I would like to thank you because I did not know around four of these weapons existed and now I’m on a collection on trying to collect everything within a week
I love the Octo so much because the stat card for the one I got said it fired 10 pellets so it's a gun called the Octo with the flavor text "Octo means 9" and fires 10 BULLETS that is absolutely perfect to my dumbass sense of humor
So the way the Salvador left hand pimpernel glitch works as such: The extra projectiles are “unlisted”(they aren’t on the base projectiles on the item card), when you shoot the gun it looks for the unlisted damage somewhere, but when it’s in your left hand the game panics and gives it the damage of the gun on your right per projectile.
I love this sort of deep dive video that I can turn on and zone out to on my shifts, doubly so for one of my favorite games. Your sense of humor is just this side of funny dorkiness, the sort of thing the clown of a group of friends has, some meme edits but not too many. Good restraint on that all around. Oh, and Sir Mash is Goated, I guess.
46:08 Reagarding the "Lascaux", it is in fact pronounced "Las-co". In french the "x" at the end is silent, the "aux" is pronounced "o" and the "c" being in front of an "a" makes it sound like a "k". Anyways great vid so far ^^
11:27 The crow on the weapon could be a reference within a reference. Morrigan didn't kill him but she foretold his death to him (being the goddess of fate) and the crow on the shoulder of the weapon signifies that the player is already dead with you being slagged when you use the weapon. or could simply be Cu Chulainn vowed to kill the most exotic bird for his love Emir and suffers for it.
About the chulainn, firstly the "ch" in Irish is pronounced more like a "k" (technically it's more of a guttural throaty sound but k is close enough) Secondly, the crow on the gun is a reference to The Morrigan, a godess who liked to appear in the form of a crow. She fell in love with cú chulainn but tried to kill him when he turned her down
Okay, so the cher amie, its also a reference to the lost batallion, they were a battalion of soldiers that got completely surrounded by the enemy, the supplies intended to be dropped on them landed on the enemey and they finally got a message through with a bird whose name was Cher amie, iirc, the bird survived a gunshot to get the message through as well
A video just in time for a question that came up which could be another video: Why is it that there are so few large aircraft and vehicles in the series, in universe? I noticed it when on Digistruct Peak and while fighting the hyperion spider-tanks that Hyperion doesn’t actually have any tanks, and that lead down a bit of a rabbit hole. The most we get for air is some light troop transports and the Bunker, and it and Saturn are far and away exceptions rather than the rule. Atlas had the heaviest vehicle with that APC, but that's still not as much as you'd think they would have. And then if we're talking large-scale necessities then Maliwan went to war with Atlas in B3, so that's exactly where you'd think there'd be some things you'd see out of an RTS.
my guess (for smaller stuff) on pandora is probably because of Bandits and wildlife. I mean Flying something basically the largest "SSHOOT MEEEE" on top of your head to everything below you. larger stuff not as much of an idea, we see a fair share of large spaceships from dahl maliwan hyperion etc but nothing on the surface, maybe cos of gravity something idk not really thought much of it, great thing to think of though fs!
@LFXGaming Well, for comparisons sake, Halo has plenty of small maps with heavy vehicles, and its far from the only example. Battlefront, Planetside, Titanfall... Pretty much anywhere you can drive a runner/technical/etc. I could see having room for a tank. Imagine a Hyperion tank patrolling the road leading to Opportunity, and Maliwan elementally specialized tanks roaming city streets fighting Atlas personnel and APCs. While they aren't not worth considering, I do feel like it'd be especially hard to add depth to the starships of Borderlands, unless you get to pilot them. It's simply because it's harder to manufacture opportunities for engagement within Borderlands' gameplay compared to planet-based encounters. Though it's far from impossible, I think it would take putting it in the central spotlight, like how you'd probably need a full-on combat racing game if you wanted them to really expand on the vehicles. I don't think there's an in-universe reason for it, especially not when there's loads of working tech already. I'd say the biggest reason is because vehicles are used first and foremost to get from Point A to Point B in Borderlands, and tanks are the slowest option to accomplish that.
1:52:15 Simply. GBX done goofed when fixing Rare rarity SMGs (In past No Maliwan rare smgs dropped, check Crit rarity patch as well). Now Blue Unique smgs use higher rarity body which makes purple. Kinda cool that all the Tiny Tina guns deal explosive damage (obviously) like how all the moxxi weapons have life drain. Would be cool to see more stuff like this in borderlands 4 Edit: the Teapot does corrosive splash/grenade damage so not exactly explosive but close enough
@lauriheiskanen2127 Yeah, Critical Ascension is literally snipers only, and the second you swap to a non-sniper weapon you lose all stacks of Critical Ascension. The Stomper is, as can be seen in the video, an AR.
@@VampDemigod Yeah. It is impressive though that in like two hours, I think that's the only mistake I caught. It's kind of a big one, but given how screwy some of the guns are it's very cool.
