  • Cancer is a deadly illness, which needs great care. Just as important as having the best treatment for it, is the role of caregivers, for the patient. It was Waliya Najib who took care of me during my illness of cancer. As it is a long drawn out illness, her sister Nataliya Khan came over for two months, and again for a month later on. Nadiya Najib came for four months. Here the two sisters are sharing what they learnt from their experience as caregivers. It is hoped that this candid discussion will help other caregivers of cancer patients or any other long drawn out illness. May we all have the courage to be strong through it all.

Thank you so much for your comment. I’m so glad you found it useful, which has been our main intention- to be of use to a patient and the caretakers.

Me and my family too get through very rough phase when my father got prostate cancer each and every small details you guys discuss from initial to final i can relate. Unfortunately he is no more with us but i am happy and content that i gave my best to serve him. He died because of Covid not cancer. Your videos surely help thousands of people who are going through difficult time ❤

May Allah bless you shireen Aunty with long healthy life ameen.
my sister also had breast cancer and just 1 month ago her treatment is over and she is cured Allhamdolillah .. best approach is divide and conquer.. we also did the same .. 2 siblings managed her doctors and all chemo radiation appointments, and 2 managed her kids and their studies and her food.
We all always remained positive around her nd also let her cry when she felt overwhelmed with so many frustration.
Lots or love and prayers ❤️

Assalamualaikum, Allah taalah bless u all,its very true going through Chemo n all that is very struggling for a family n yes also quite a straining job for health workers Im working as a Nurse in Bone Marrow transplant ICU for many months now in a Corporate Hospital (India) .😊And i would add if d patient n family is supportive n Understanding with the health workers it becomes easy to care for that patient.Coz as a nurse i have gone through such Patient n Relatives where i would comeback from work n Cry.And in transplant patients r kept in isolation rooms so it becomes quite hectic to make them understand the BTS of all the treatments a nurse has to do.

It would be really helpful for people going through this if you could tell more about what questions patients family should ask exactly from doctor.. bcz in Pakistan lots of people don’t know what shud they be asking jis ki waja se doctors suntey he nahi hain ..

You see it would be different in each case. It is important to be brief, precise and focussed. Don’t beat about the push when coming to the point. Realise the doc has many more patients to see. But you have right to know.
