The perfect loop of Remix 10, would make an interesting endless game... maybe not! I noticed it says Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise next to the girl. That's what it's called where I live. ^.^
Oh hey thanks! And yup, it would make for a great endless game...if it weren't for Love Rap, that one killed sooo many of my Perfects, it took me forever >_>. Really? Oh nice, then I guess that you must be from Europe too.
David Mismo I was thinking of Love Rap... and how many times I press A too soon. So this would be a tough endless game with that alone. Yes I am from Europe :3
Actually, quite a lot of minigames can have an intersting endless game. Would actually be cool to have a button right next to the 'play game' (you know, what you have in Megamix) with 'turn endless mode on'. Maybe not for every game, but many would probably benefit from it. Imagine this: Flipper Flop endless, with longer flipper patterns and a confusing mess of flipper roll counts...

That's it. That's it! I'm taking the first bus to my local game store because I need this game! (This games remixes are the greatest thing in existence)
Amazing choice, Fever is my personal favorite RH game! It has a lot of my favorite minigames and just as you said, the best remixes of the franchise (imo, of course), so I'd totally recommend it if you can find it at a good prize.
I was kind of exaggerating, that store is closed since it's already quite late in the evening here, on a sunday as well. I actually went looking for the game before, but it seems they don't have it. I'm actually planning on using the Wii U's E-shop to buy this. Personally, I really like the DS version (having only played that one and Megamix), because of its controls and again, having a lot of my favourite games be from that one, such as Built to Scale, Lockstep and Shoot-em Up. That said, Fever does indeed have more interesting remixes, with nice themes as well (Seriously, who thought that a 'spaghetti western' theme made sense?) and the latter remixes in this game look truly like original, challenging stages. And of course, thE MUSIC!!
Megamix already has most of Fever's games but only for the sequels and remixes it's more than worth imo, it's also more challenging than Megamix, Challenge Train aside maybe. Also yep, RHDS is pretty great (I started playing these games with it so nostalgia points [?]), I've seen some people complaining about the controls but I personally find them engaging -except in Moais- . And yeah, I forgot that you can also get it digitally on Wii U, that will probably be your best option, since I think that the game it's kinda hard to find nowadays. If you really liked Megamix I'd say go for it!
Well, Megamix only has 3 out of the 12 sequels, none of the Remixes and still misses 4 of the normal games. That makes 17 stages that are not in Megamix. I think it's worth it. I actually hope it's difficult, since the difficulty in Rhythm Heaven actually still seems fair, most of the time (compared to other games that I play) and Megamix was a complete cakewalk that felt somewhat boring without any difficulty. I actually had quite some trouble with the DS game, since I'm terrible at keeping a beat. From the second stage onward, I knew it wasn't going to be easy. Hope I can see that again in Fever! -Let's just ignore the Moai's, alright?- But I think the E Shop is indeed the way to go, the trouble I have with the name of the game, which is different in almost every country and the age of it make it hard to find. Sad too, since I really like owning the physical copies of my games (thank you very much, Phoenix Wright!) I still have a bunch of homework and a few unfinished games (Mario 3D World, Zelda Majora's Mask, Layton's Mystery Journey) so it might not be the best time right now...
Not counting challenges, Megamix is the easiest game by far, you can mess up a lot in most games and you'll still probably get an OK. I think that Fever has the most balanced score system; it's not as strict as DS (in games like Shoot'em-Up 2 you need to do it perfectly to even get a superb) but it's way less permissive than Megamix. And also Remix 10 from Fever is to this day the Perfect that took me the most time -again, Moais 2 doesn't count (?)- And yeah, I quite get you because I don't really like digital gaming (only own Dual Destinies and Project Mirai because there's no other way) but Fever must be difficult to find nowadays. I actually bought it not long ago, like 2 years, and it was by pure luck, it was the last one. And regarding the last point, welp, a good thing about RH games is that you can just play them casually -except Perfects- since they're short but if you have many pending games, it can also wait, it's up to you™.
