Jeg får frysninger over hele kroppen.
AMAZING PREFORMANCE!!!!
all of the ppl in the final decerve to win, but I think Nora was the best but anyways, Congrats with the 3th place Nora!! you rock!
She gives me goose bumps, every time I see her it just makes me smile
1) (Thomas Giertsen) : This was just fantastically great! What a performance! I think it was really impressive, and it's really fascinating to watch, you have reached very far and you are a big talent for being that young.
2) (Mia Gundersen) : You have a good diction and a good tone control, and for being that young you have a great voice. Of course, I can see you have a short way to go regarding having total control and make it totally magic, but that will eventually come.
Kjempe bra.
This"little lady form the video" presented a marvelous rendition of a "piece of historical evidence of greatness", written by two Musical Magicians!
There's no specific language called Scandinavian, when somebody says they spoke Scandinavian, they normally refer to people from Norway, Sweden and Denmark talking to eachother using their own languages. Since there are many similarities, most people understand eachother.
Fabulous, this girl is scarey good, and I hope that she never quits singing ever! And I love the moment at 2:01, it's like she does a mini-double take at the camera and then sings directly to it
Kørberg = Kørberg, just two ways of writing the "oe" letter, 'Ø' is usually used in Denmark and Norway, while 'Ö' is used in Sweden. They mean the same though and are pronounced in an identical way. So writing his name as Tommy Kørberg is really not a big deal, even if he is from Sweden (quite natural for a Norwegian to write his name with the "ø" we usually use, I think, just as a Swede would write "Öyvind" for a Norwegian named Øyvind).
Nydelig!
LOL! Thanks! I thought it was kinda like Scandinavian or something like that. Very beautiful singer indeed...
No this is a song called Anthem from the musical CHESS. Listen to Josh Groban's version sung at the Royal Albert Hall, London. Fantastic
Sounds like a combo of Christina, Brittney & Leanne Rymes all mixed together perfectly! What language are they speaking with her?
That's a beautiful song. I wish I still felt that way about my country...
thank u so much 4 writing what they are saying!!! i think she is fantastic but had no idea on the comments
Like here dress&nd hair !
and she sings wonderfull !
What a voice!!!!!!!!!
I have no idea what the judges are saying but she is amazing!!!
It is written in more infos, just have to read.
With this performance she ended up on third place in the competition!
I think maybe Nora's father is middle eastern he looks like that-not sure if in this video or in a diff one...
But Nora was born and being raised in Norway and her mom is norwegian.
@moomoomccheese It is not the Norwegian anthem...just so you know. It is from the musical "Chess" the song is "Anthem" Sometimes ignorance is so annoying i have to comment.
Talented! It moves me when I see how proud her daddy looks, too.
I'm sorry..... I hope my question will not offend anyone... Is this Norway National Anthem in English Version. (had to ask, as it has a really beautiful tune : )
FYI: Scandinavia consists of f Denmark, Norway and Sweden, as well as Iceland and the Faroe Islands
She does have a beautiful voice.
i olve tuhe music..i love the talent..i love your voice..i love you...you are very very special singer^_^
She had a beautiful voice. Incredible control!
I love this song and she sings it wery beautiful
Please watch also Lawrence Gray singing this great song... Just click on the video response here.... Great voice and interpretation... goosebumps each time I hear Lawrence sing!!
Nora , du er sjukt flink!
I'm so in love with this girl! She deserved to win, to be honest. This is perfect in my ears. Vi er glad i deg og tror på deg Nora!/We Love You, And We Believe In You Nora!
nesten mest imopnert over sangvalget.. kjempeflink :)
as "norwaygirl75" wrote
It is a great difference between singing from your heart and singing with your voice, because the heart has a lot of feelings in it, while your voice... it only comes from your voice, just to sing. When you make someone cry, you get a good feeling, because that's when you know you have made it.
The biggest challenge is the other competitors. The competition is hard and they are all so very good. But I will make it!
Um, I know that this is a lot to ask, but if somebody could please translate what Nora is saying while she's being interviewed?
At 12 years old? Sensational, to say the least!
@AlexandraFromBrobeck There are only two countries on the Scandinavian peninsula, so geographically only Norway and Sweden are Scandinavia. However, Denmark is also a part of the generic term "Scandinavia", as all three countries share mostly the same history, culture and language.
The Nordic Countries also includes Iceland and the Faroe Islands (the inhabitants are of Scandinavian decent) and Finland (the most "different" country with a separate language but common history).
such a good performance...beautiful girl,voice...OMG:)
@juicyberriesxx there are three contries in scandinavia norway, sweden and denmark. there are 5 contries in norden and they are norway, sweden, denmark, finland and iceland.
@MacKiwi15 Norwegian-sounds alot like swedish, if you've ever heard that :)
omg, this was marvelous!!!!
Very very talent ! Great
What are the judges saying to her?? Specially Judges number 2 &3 ??
Amazing voice! =)
I think she make records, because she`s fansite blog is that info. So record coming 2010 and then i must get that. =)
She looks much older than she is, has she won btw ?
I cry really
No I was trying to say she is not,
ghaith4u717 said she was Iraqi.
i did not mean to be so angry/rude, caught in a moment and i got a bit worked up. sorry if i was insulting you in any way. But to make the point clear : in norway we speak english basicly on a daily basis since norway is the most " Americanized" country in europe.
great english accent!
Thank you!! :))
wowow
you made me cry!
How in the world did she not get first place? What kind of crazy world is this?
(LOL på deg)
I never said she sang it wrong/sour. I said I didn't think it fitted to take those notes instead of the original way of singing them. You analyzer cannot judge that, can it?
can she get any cooler?? really! she is breathe taking talent! what is the translations of what they said after she sang??
hun er jo mye bedre enn erlend bratland! unskyld at jeg sier det, men hun høres faktisk bedre ut enn vinneren.. fantastisk..
har hu snus i leppa ?
what language is this???
Chris1Joyce is right...
but nevertheless she is only 11 years old.
And she sings great for that and hat the ability to build up
7cathy7 already did that on page 6 i think:)
you are so buyudefull i love you
what are you wearing !?
Europe's got talent show puts most of the American Idol contestants to shame. Even the under 16 year olds are stronger singers. Nora is amazing. I love the way she put a her own twists on some where over the rainbow... so what that she did not pronounce rainbow perfectly. Not many Americans speak more than one language and on u tube you can see how much more linguistic the rest of the world is at a young age. here the schools wait till middle school to start languages. What a shame!
@candypot134
Same with German...and all further germanic languages.
Norwegian, and i guess this is as good a time as any 2 tell u MelAli123 what she is wearing is called a dress =)
Wow, fantastic. 5*****
maaan her lil gap was sooooooooo cute!!
Joda.
where?
finland isn't a part of scandinavia.
She sings not even close to perfect but spot on perfect!!! Butt why this song?
No, Erlend Bratland did.
Så flink du er ,,,,,lykke til
snutter10: Who won?
the magician didnt win, Erlend Bratland won that day ; )
But Nora should have won, cause she has amazing voice! incredible
She didn't win, but you should check out the guy who did...Erlend Bratland.
heheheh !
ærlighet varer lengst ;) #thumbs up#
Selfølgelig ;)
Körberg, not Kørberg
haha, yes, Her father is from IRak ;)
Denne sangen får jeg gåsehud av ;O
why dont they sing in their own language? why do they have to sing in English? it puzzles me and does the audience understand her can her country speak their language and English too?
in this vid, yes. but now, she's like 13 or fourteen
Jeg får vondt i ørene.
the judge all the way on the left kinda reminds me of Cory Monteith.
irlin is still better though. noras voice is slightly piercing.
but wow..only twelve! very mature!
Nora is saying(in the beginning, before she sings):
There is a lot of difrent between singing from the heart or just singing with the voice, because the heart brings a lot of emotion, but the voice kind of just comes out.If you bring somenone to tears, you get a really good feeling, because then you know you've touched them. You just feel like you've nailed it!
The biggest hallenge have to be the other contestence. They are so tough and everybody are just so good. But I think I'll make it:)
