An unboxing of Manga UK's Blu-ray release of Attack on Titan - Season 1; a set which contains reauthored discs with the bonus materials on Blu-ray.
How can you fuck up such an amazing and successful anime's blu ray release so badly? That's embarrassing tbh
I’ve bought this set multiple times, the sticker on the front is a flat out lie. There are no extras with Part 1 in this set. It really bugs me that I emailed MangaUK about this and said they’d look into it.
do those discs contain the original version of the anime or it is only dubbed?
Yes; it features both English & Japanese audio with English subtitles.
Hey there, regarding the subtitles and translations errors, do you think it's still worth getting this edition? Or are the errors that bad? Is there any other official season 1 release?
If you plan to watch the series dubbed then the errors shouldn't be an issue, but they might be a concern if you watch it subbed.
As far as I recall they never re-released the set with fixes, so the Australian (or American) release might be the best way to go, but of course the American release is Region A only.
@@AnimeBlurayUK Well, that sucks. I'm caught up with the series but there's no legal way to stream the first season in my country so I was looking up the blu ray version so that I could rewatch the entire thing soon. Any hopes on a new release maybe? And while on the topic, is there a Berserk (1997) UK release? I can't seem to find it.
@@naooseii Sadly it is unlikely they will re-author (fix) the set in the UK as future reprints will use the same discs. I also don't have the original release (I.E. Part 1 & 2) to compare with the discs included in the Season 1 set to see what the exact differences are.
In regards to Berserk (1997) the series was released twice on Blu-Ray (Collector's Edition and Steelbook), but both went out of print rather quickly. MVM Entertainment do plan to re-release the Collector's Edition on 29th May 2023.

Wait, I thought this re-release they fixed the subtitling errors that the initial release had?
From what I can tell the subtitles are they same; especially in regards to the subtitle translations during middle of each episode.
That box arrived in terrible quality
