@@ReadytoRunRC I've seen a bunch of that body style Yota, Painted many different colors, down at the mudholes over the years. I haven't seen an ugly one yet. My '78 Bronco on 18.5" X 44" Ground Hogs was one of few full-size trucks that could keep up with the Toyotas. I imagine most of the RC trucks are probably similar in ability if they're built close to the same specs of each other, probably not like real trucks; concerning weight issues. I've never built an RC truck, but was wondering if RC trucks would be able to be used in the mud?
I’m just getting into rc, I have my wpl on order. I’m curious why most people don’t run the res v3? Is it because they’re only compatible with the one (pretty basic) transmitter?
My 30 amp esc i got, the Reverse is Gutless with the stock 180 motor. Forward is kick but!.... reverse i can't even get over a rock ??????????????Any advice ?
@@ReadytoRunRC It is not programable. It is the green board v2 like that one i think... It is ok. Thank you for responding You Rock. I ordered a esc an 370 motor gear box. Doesn't work right, Upgrade it ? Right ? hehehe. Thanks man
I've got the C24 but it's the non-proportional version. I'm going to upgrade to a 9g servo and new transmitter and receiver. My question is the difference between the 20 & 30a esc and will the 30a work with the stock motor?
Great video, love to see this coming along! Whats wrong with the original WPL transmitter? I quite like it! I've had 3 of those ESC's all of which have burnt out on me. There cheap but you get what you pay for. I have had a BIG upgrade to my MN90 and how run a hobby wing! 5x the price tho! Cant wait to see how you paint this body and looking forward to seeing it running! Great job👍
The original was not proportional for the steering. Also the more products I use in my videos, the more affiliate links I can put in the description to earn me a little bit of money to help pay for the upgrades. I have a video uploaded from a few days ago with the new paint and wheels on. The truck is looking good now. If I burn enough ESC's out, I will have to do what you did and go for an expensive option.
They say the stock esc wont hold up to the 370, or ive read a lot of posts saying the stock one burnt out after the 370 was added. Upgrade just the esc to maybe 40 amp. 10.50 on
@@ReadytoRunRCwhat do you think the flat plate/tray that covers the stock electronics is for? Seems like it has no purpose until you upgrade and use it as a mount.
My BAck Metal Drive Shaft Binds up if it is at angle. HAd to lower my Shocks. Love it Thanks for this
Nice simple explanation! Everyone else makes my head hurt!!
@@heavystarch100 thank you!
That's going to be a badass little Yota. Can't wait to see it finished
Thanks! Body is getting painted and should be on soon. I wasn't feeling the tan.

You just keep on improving this little truck, awesome job. Can't wait to see the paint . Orange and Black are my colors just saying. Lol
Thanks! I think it’s going to look awesome when I’m done. I’m probably going primer gray and flat black.
Great. Looks like everything went smoothly.
I cut out some of the little hiccups but nothing major. It’s coming together little by little.
looking great so far ! thanks for the share!
Thanks! I’m slowly getting there.
Hardware is in the link. I put the esc in the battery tray.
Could video, you put link for the box with servo connectors and mounting tool? thanks!
I using this esc and the jst motor cabble always burn out
Very nice. It looks better than good
Thanks! It's getting there.
what hardware did you buy and what did you connect the 30A board to
I’m just getting into rc, I have my wpl on order. I’m curious why most people don’t run the res v3? Is it because they’re only compatible with the one (pretty basic) transmitter?
I have no idea. I don’t know that much about wpl and the electronics. I bought this and changed this long before v3 came out.
can i just keep every thing stuck but the motor will it still work
A lot of posts mention the stock esc burning, try a 40 amp if you add the 370 motor
Awesome setup 👍👍
Thanks! 👍
Que batería usas?
I don’t see a link for the controller whenever I press it it just shows the receiver
Ok. Thanks for pointing that out. I fixed it. It should show both now.
Cool truck man
Thanks! It's slowly getting cooler.
How well does this system work I added all of it to my Amazon cart and I’m gonna buy it for my c24
It worked good for a couple battery cycles but I think I got it wet and it doesn’t work right anymore.

Hmmm 🤔 I have non to offer. Is it this same ESC or one that can be programmed?

@@JamesDirtRC ok. Wish I had an answer but yep you’re right. Something doesn’t work? Upgrade it haha. Happy crawling.
Can you please try the wpl D12
One of these days I'll get one.
Do I have to get a new controller in order to use the new esc oor is there anyway I can keep using the original remote longer?
You will need a new controller because you need to have a receiver. So a new controller and receiver is needed.
Great vid! Does anyone have a link to that ESC?
Thanks. Links are in the video description.
I used the same esc and when it’s turned on it’s flashing red?
It will flash if the receiver isn’t bound to the controller. If it flashes and you are bound to the controller then I don’t know what the issue is.
The receiver is solid green, and the esc is blinking red until I give it throttle then it’s a faded solid red
Cool truck
Thanks!
I have a issue were if I go full throttle the truck will keep going untill I either unplug or turn the car off, can I fix this in any way?
I never had that problem. I don't know what to say to fix it.
Replace the esc for as starters. Unless its the tx/rx
You should get an Atlas 6X6...
Eventually
you had to solder something to something?
You're right. I did solder something to something.

The difference is the amount of voltage it can handle. I can't see why 30a won't work.
Get a 40 cause you will want the 370 motor next. Be honest with yourself, lol
Esc này dùng liệu có tốt
Cool ! 👍 😎🚙
Thanks 👍
what if you added a tiny camera built into it so you dont have to use a go pro
I wasn’t planning on using any camera on this but putting fpv cams is always a possibility for nearly anything.
