I LOVE 4 Rooms! Kathy was amazing in that movie (and also stars Tim Roth, Madonna, Ione Skye, Antonio Banderas, Bruce Willis, Marisa Tomei, etc.).. It's just a fantastic film. Iirc, there are 4 different directors involved, including Quentin Tarantino (who makes a cameo) and Robert Rodriguez, and there are 4 different intertwining narratives centered around Tim Roth's character the lone employee on new year's eve at a "luxury" hotel. There are witches, a dead hooker, gangsters, high stakes gambling and devious children. Kathy plays the hotel's manager or assistant manager (?), who takes the night off leaving Tim Roth's character alone during the night shift on new year's eve, as things spin out of his control he repeatedly calls Kathy throughout the night for advice. It's a very fun watch, even just for Kathy's vignettes.

Elizabeth Warren is the most progressive candidate and has the most extensive and clearly articulated Progressive platform. I am not sure how saying you support Warren could possibly be considered not Progressive? I think she has a lot to be proud of in terms of the infrastructure she's built in the wake of the photo. She's been in the business for quite some time and the photo created an environment where she was no longer tethered to a standard career model. The interesting aspect is the degree to which her career has evolved; sure, it was a rocky road, but it eventually gave her the ability to create a space for herself that no other comic has really been able to establish. She has international fans and is able to travel to some areas that most American comedians can't because their humor doesn't translate or they aren't recognizable in the mainstream.

She is the most incredible artist and what is just mindblowingly admirable is how this shit has actually made her even stronger, funnier and more relevant.
I LOVE 4 Rooms! Kathy was amazing in that movie (and also stars Tim Roth, Madonna, Ione Skye, Antonio Banderas, Bruce Willis, Marisa Tomei, etc.).. It's just a fantastic film.
Iirc, there are 4 different directors involved, including Quentin Tarantino (who makes a cameo) and Robert Rodriguez, and there are 4 different intertwining narratives centered around Tim Roth's character the lone employee on new year's eve at a "luxury" hotel. There are witches, a dead hooker, gangsters, high stakes gambling and devious children. Kathy plays the hotel's manager or assistant manager (?), who takes the night off leaving Tim Roth's character alone during the night shift on new year's eve, as things spin out of his control he repeatedly calls Kathy throughout the night for advice.
It's a very fun watch, even just for Kathy's vignettes.

Elizabeth Warren is the most progressive candidate and has the most extensive and clearly articulated Progressive platform. I am not sure how saying you support Warren could possibly be considered not Progressive? She also spent a long time defending the “Squad.” If you want to disagree with her about certain issues that I could understand, but to claim she is “WAY off” just seems silly to me. But, I guess that is contemporary politics in America now, if someone doesn’t agree with you 100%, you dismiss them offhand and claim they are wrong about everything.

ForsythJC I got Elizabeth Warren because Kathy said specifically in this interview that she strongly supported her, including in various other interviews I have seen of her. I did not claim you said Warren was way off, my point is that Kathy supports Warren and Warren is the most progressive candidate of the current Democratic contenders. Yes, Kathy also supports Kamala Harris because she is a Senator from California (specifically Southern California) where Kathy lives , she is extremely sharp and outspoken against the Trump administration, and she has lead much of the tough questioning of Trump administration officials during Senate hearings. And, Harris is a black woman, which Kathy finds inspiring, but Kathy NEVER said she would only vote for someone just because that person was a woman. And, Harris and Warren are not the only women running for the Democratic nomination. Kathy mentioned Warren and Harris because she likes their ideas and accomplishments, not just because they are both women. And, where did I say your comments were NOT your opinion? Any comment anyone posts on TH-cam is an opinion, unless a person is a scientist citing a widely accepted scientific fact. Your response about my supposedly trying to “twist” what you wrote is nonsense. I get you wrote an opinion, and opinions can be criticized. I think she has a lot to be proud of in terms of the infrastructure she's built in the wake of the photo. She's been in the business for quite some time and the photo created an environment where she was no longer tethered to a standard career model. The interesting aspect is the degree to which her career has evolved; sure, it was a rocky road, but it eventually gave her the ability to create a space for herself that no other comic has really been able to establish. She has international fans and is able to travel to some areas that most American comedians can't because their humor doesn't translate or they aren't recognizable in the mainstream.
Kathy wears the cutest attire. She rocks it no matter where she goes. Stop saying severed head. It’s a mask. A mask with fries…um, dropped mask in the ketchup. She was posing and not suggesting she was going to gun him dwn and rip off his head as she runs on heels through DC.
Really used to love Kathy. I really don't care about the Trump crap, but the triggering buzz words like "white privilege" and "white dudes" and "straight, white males" is just so tired and an obvious attempt to latch onto a minority audience. Also, the comedy stopped and now she just rants about Trump and name checks her credentials. Tired and unfunny.
