  • In this video I'm making a sound test of the cat delete, decat or catalyzer suppressor installed in my KTM Duke 125.
    I hope you enjoy the view of this POV ride.
    Exhaust and decat are from the Italian Mivv manufacturer.
    Check out my other video without the cat delete: • KTM Duke 125 POV ride ...
    Thanks for watching!

    Hi! I was wondering do you have to program something on the motorcycle computer after you put the de cat pipe? I heard that it may damage the engine if such programming hasn’t been made.

      It would be best to change the ecu map with powercommander but I haven't done it and it works like a charm. Just the noise is a bit too loud.

    Hello mate, i put on a slip on exhast and a decat, but now my bike wont start after a couple rides, maybe something about removing the cat? Or the lambda?Hope you can help me
    Greetz!

      It's probably the lambda, if it doesn't read the oxygen level it will give you an engine error, run a diagnostic. I can't help you much. Good luck!

    Does the motorcycle now go faster and more powerful without a catalyst? How much is it in km/h maximum?

    • @natasfresas
      @natasfresas  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not really, it's just louder. I think it's 110, 125 with wind on favour and on the highway

    Just wondering if you've noticed the Decat making your Duke faster or if the lack of backpreassure evens it out

    • @natasfresas
      @natasfresas  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't think it makes it faster, but it feels more responsive to the throttle.

      @@natasfresas If you decat your bike and not give it some backpressure on exhaust side, you will lose power. Your bike will work with lean mixture cause of easy flow exhaust. If you want performance increase you should do decat + mid pipe + performance exhaust + air filter AND REMAP. Or at least buy afr (fuel mixture) tunning module. How should I know these? I did same on my Duke390 :)

    • @natasfresas
      @natasfresas  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're right on that, thought about buying a K&N air filter, but it costs like 50€ and not to talk about a programmable ECU, those are like 200€. Not the money I was willing to put on a 125 and risk a fine. (Although it was fun to ride, I removed the decat and left it stock. Also I recently sold the bike and got a Z650)
